There is paucity of F2 visa interview online so I thought to post wife and two kids visa transcript approved today at the Abuja US embassy, to help people intending to go for F2 visa interview. Note that the principal (F1 holder)(me) was not present in this interview. I have seen some people wondering and worrying if the F1 holder should be present in the interview.

Interview was for 9am, 27th March 2018.

Vo: Why are you going to the US?
Wife: I am going to the US to visit my husband.

Vo: Who pays for your husband’s fees?
Wife: My husband is on scholarship (Well, actually it is assistantship. I imagine that the Vo will understand)

Vo: You applied for vacation (B1/B2) before, why did you not say that your husband lives in the US?
Wife: My husband was still in Nigeria when I interviewed for that. I interviewed on 3rd August 2017.

Vo: When did your husband travel?
Wife: 14th August 2017

Vo: How long did you intend to stay?
Wife: 4 yrs

Vo: Provide your marriage cert and kids birth cert?
We had a Divine intervention on this question. Among all the things I discussed with my wife during the preparation leading up to this interview, we never mentioned or discussed kids birth certificate. I have never ever seen it being requested on the few F2 visa interview I found online and trust me I really searched. The night before the interview, my wife heard a voice that told her to get the two kids' birth certificate and immunization documents and put it in her bag. She ignored this voice and the next morning, they were all dressed up, ready, and leaving the house for the interview when she heard the voice again! She went back to the house, took the birth certificates and immunization records and left for the interview. And here you have the Vo asking for those documents! Excuse me if you are an atheist but God does speak to and help those who believe in Him. Praise God!
Wife: Tendered the marriage cert, kids birth cert and immunization docs.

Vo: Congratulations....on and on...

To HIM be all the glory!

Hello HOUSE,
I was declined of admission about one month ago.

A professor from another faculty mailed me to apply for a PhD,waived my application fee.
I found out that he has linked my previous application to the new one.

I can see some column changes on my application page that says I should upload the following:
A column for uploading copy of I- 20 form
A column for Bank statement
A column for financial statement for one year.

I don't have the above listed requirements

Please house I have not received admission offer yet.
Showing on my application is Submitted!.
What does these mean as I don't have copy of I 20 and bank statement.
What can I do at present.Gurus please advise.
Thanks.

Boss...
Contact the Professor and ask him these questions.
He will have a much better answer for you.
Ask him about your admission status.. and funding possibility.
Try calling on the phone if you need urgent reply or send email.

It's the school that's meant to give you the Form I-20 after you have showed proof that you can afford the cost of studying and living in the city.

Hello People. I got denied today by the guy in Window 6,really felt bad because I couldn't pinpoint what really went wrong because I felt I was lecturing (I really prepared and prayed well too) the guy all the minutes in his front and he kept on nodding like an agama lizard as we were both smiling.

I'm going to Tamuk for masters in Electrical and electronics engineering, been working in a power engineering firm in Lagos. I got home and read my denial under section 214(b)( Bottom line, I'm not able to show proof I'm coming back after my studies) so I suspected where the problem came.

VO- so where do you work and your responsibilities.
Me- Told him where I work and all what i wrote on my DS-160.
The next question was
VO- Are you on a study leave.
Me- Yes. The management of organization are fully aware of my desire to pursue a masters degree as it would help me to attain the post of the head of operations in my dept when i come back and I have my study leave here.
VO- oh Good. Is your study leave with pay or without pay.
Me- My study leave is without pay as my dad will be responsible for my study throughout my programme.

Few questions after that and he was typing for like a minute and I was thinking I killed it and I should get an approval.

Then he issued me a blue paper. Asked him what went wrong, he said 'I'm really sorry, I don't coach bla bla' and I left.

So please any advise? I'm reapplying for sure but I can't get a study leave with pay at my organization and how else can I change my situation to stand a chance of getting a positive outcome.

Thanks. Please I need kind and frank response.

Bro plz i wanna pm you need to ask some questions

She doesn't need SAT if she is going for Masters degree.
You check the school website to know what requirement they want.

It is better for applicant to go to the school website they want to apply to and check the admission requirement before going to write exam that is not meant for them..

I don't know where to start thanking God from. After BGSU decided to omit me from their funding list in their MA MATHEMATICS program, the school I applied to with the belief that I was being overly ambitious gave me a surprise offer this evening. Please join me and praise God. I'm pleased with this offer. God be praised!!!

Thanks for your response.

My age: 30
University of Bridgeport
Sponsored my in-law, enough cash to sponsor 3 persons,
I have a HND graduated 2015, couldn't go for direct masters so I had to apply for transfer program.

@alayomini was your visa granted the 4th time?

As an Undergraduate students, American give high chances to ages from 18 - 22. I think this is the main reason why you are been denied. Why not go for a Masters degree since you are already a graduate already. If you cant go for Masters directly, there are college you can go for upgrade before your masters. You can make more research online or check www.collegeweek.com the website will really help you.
