@Senorita123: It's not just getting a gift deed that is the issue. The money must be available to him till he gets PPR, and even till he lands, cos he might be asked at any time during the duration of the process to show proof of his funds. Better safe than sorry.

Nop. There is no issue with that. You can just walk in to your bank to request for masters card too if you want so that your hat refund can also be credited back to your account when the time comes.

First, which is better to use to certify documents from your own experience : the notary public, commissioner of oaths or a lawyer? Secondly, how long did it take after you sent in all your documents to get the eca report.

@gensta sorry I didn’t reply your pm on time was quite busy.
For certification of my documents, I used a notary public but a lawyer can be used provide he/she has a seal to authenticate the documents.
As for the ECA, I got it in 9weeks but response time is dependent on the volume of work they have to do per time. To avoid delays ensure you send all required documents.
