Pls i need clatification on work experience, just wanna share my concerns here. My sis has been working as a Public relations officer in my father's company for 3years now and shes wants to apply for EE. Hope it wont raise an eyebrow with the immigration officers.
Although all required documents will be provided.

Tanx y'all.

Does CIC ask if the company is for the person's parents or not.
As long as the company is genuine and she actually worked there and reference letter is available, me I don't see any issue at all

Even is the name of the company is her surname (i.e father's name) e.g "Eze and son Chambers"

go on and get your PR

Hello house
FEEDBACK
Unilorin said they don't process transcript for remedial programme so had to look for alternative way of increasing CRS score
For people considering NOUN for PGD to increase CRS score
Application fee is 7500 for the form

PGD Information technology costs N88,500 for first semester.

Actually thought it was cheaper...but hey...got no choice.

If anyone has any other info...pls share with the house.

Thanks

Thank you for the kind response. I had BSc in Geology which I think has higher potential to get a job in CA. Though I only practised this profession for approx 2 years, I am considering specializing in the area as I see the Business Administration as generic.

Thank you.

Apology only.. I don't drink alcohol or soft drink. The truth is if u start spoonfeeding someone, u must continue and it will get to u sometime. These are graduates.. I know our educational system is bad but how will these people cope in Canada? Telling sb to read up is not a crime.. Unless u pay sb and deal with any mistakes that might come in,u have no right to reject being referred to pages.

My problem is not jump and pass but spamming. All is on as I'm here for now.

Lol, e jowo ma.

Anyway , this was on a lighter note o, I had decided to remain in the middle...not picking sides on the Page zero issue. So let me be a mediator.

Me ayaf come to realize that I cannot change anyone, I can only 'senge" myself and people will always be who they are and if I like break head and stuff my own ideas ( that I think should be apparent to anyone) into their heads, they will still remain who they are. So I am using the approach I use in real life, If I tell you something from an informed perspective and you say my mouth is smelling, I shall keep quiet and we will all be well, after-all, without my insight you will still be alive.

I can almost bet that most of the active people here are cholerics, some with a blend of the sanguine. It is kind of counterproductive for Cholerics to think that phlegs and mels will behave like them, it is just the way we all are, we are DIFFERENT....for example see this quote "The Phlegmatic goes through life doing as little as possible, quietly, and expending little energy. It is not clear whether the Phlegmatic has very little energy, or it is because they refuse to use what little energy they do have. " Now we will bash a phlegmatic for not doing all the research, they are just different ni, it is neither right nor wrong, we are JUST DIFFERENT.

As Newmum has said referring someone to page 0 in itself is not bad, we should just be polite about it. Infact I had to go to page zero again this morning to see what is there. It is so well presented that you do not need to read the entire thread, you just go to pick what you need, it is much less work than reading the thread. Kudos to GS, 40manlappy, Cochrane etc that have summarized the thread for us.

My own opinion is referring to page 0 is fantastic but just imagine if your spouse does something and you start by saying "if you had done x, y or Z, you would not be asking this basic question', your spouse is likely to interpret it as "he/she said I am stupid" I doubt that marriage will be happy. To crown it all, some people are super sensitive (me ayam sensitive o) while some have thicker skins.

So my people, biko, e dakun, let us temper justice with mercy.

I am coming for you because i kent take this shocked cheesy

I appreciate the information given on this platform.May God bless everyone that has been of help in rendering informations. My husband wants to do his Wes. He graduated from Bayero University but he is having issues getting his transcript sent. He has done his PGD in Nassarawa university. Is it advisable to just send the PGD and forget the Bsc. What is PGD equivalent to on WES.

For 2 or more certificates which gives better points, he needs to evaluate both.

PGD alone won't fly much guess it's just a one year certificate or diploma program.

So let him intensify efforts to get the transcripts from Bayero

I thought same too but she is intending to be the primary applicant not him so it may not matter so much in points, she needs to use the CRS tool to check, I am too lazy to.

@maideyz: if you are thinking that Oga may be the PA if he aces IELTS, you will have to do both.

@Ysteph Firstly, I quite agreed with most of your points and the necessities to reduce the repetitive questions as well as encourage people to read themselves. I didnt attack anyone and my post was just solemnly base on my general view. I wont drag any names into this but we all know people who goes above and beyond to help people adjust and interpret their roles. In addition it took 2 or more pages for one of our gurus to explained to people about claiming point for work experience while studying. i doff my hat for them and others, they respond or waka pass. i do believe in self reading and research as much as anyone here. There are better way to politely refer people to page0 and i have seen people helping others with a link. lastly, i don't understand what u meant by "she is teaching us to learn the hard way" who are these people she is teaching the hard way?

Well, everyone will be happy at the end of the day but remember no one will ever forget how u make them feel.

I visited one of their study centre yesterday and was told their PGD last for three semesters. By that information, if you register now, you should be through before the end of the second quarter of 2019.

Thank you so much.

I am requesting a letter of confirmation of balance from them and we are having a few issues:

1. They use the terms life assurance policy/premium and this does not reflect the investment part of the contract but only the insurance part. Someone looking at it may not know I am getting some money from them upon maturity.

2. The duration of my policy is 5 years and expires in July. This means that by July, I will get my money. Will this be okay if I am submitting my application in April and using it as part of my PoF.

3. Finally what was the experience of your friend? And what was the format of the letter she used. Do you know if it was accepted?
