Please I get on qwension, trinna register a vehicle for Uber/Taxify.
1. Will your Taxify cover works as Uber Insurance Document?
2. Is it a must to do Taxify cover before you are activated? Or the fee can be deducted on the account.

Thanks

Uber needs insurance cover not taxify cover

You're wrong, at the beginning of a new week, write all the trip fares in a book, indicating cash and card, then do your calculation at the end of the day

ziego:
Good day all.
I have this observation on uber app to make which I need a better clarification and I think we should discuss it, come together analyse it and know how the algorithm for the calculation of our earnings operate.
In this business there are two parties uber and driver
Uber takes 25% while driver takes 75%.
Now after ridding for a card payment, uber takes their 25% and keep your 75% for them to be subtracting their subsequent 25% from. But I discovered that instead of uber to subtract their 25% when you get a cash payment, what they do is subtract the total fare you collected in cash from your previous 75% which they are keeping for you which is not supposed to be. Then you realize that your balance with them quickly goes down when you ride cash than card. I have some screenshot detailed explanations. I would love some of us to look into it. If possible we can form a committee to analyse this critically so we would be cleared on that.
I learnt we have a WhatsApp group. I wish to be added and as well those interested in this particular observation can chat me so we discuss more. 08039521412

I must not go by the week. I can go by the the days rides. But simple analogy should make us understand. Look deep before u conclude. My question is why would the cash collected be labelled as minus and SUBTRACTED from my previous balance?
What should be subtracted from my previous balance is their 25% since I have collected my 75% by cash. If u are a driver u can do the mathematics too.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by alstarmayo(m): 6:24am On Apr 06, 2018
that's why I said you should take the first day from a new week, do 5 rides and then calculate again. cash trip was labeled as minus in that instance, but only 25% was subtracted

That's what we assume but it's not what am seeing on my app. U can share yours let's compare. Check the difference of my balance from card ride to cash ride. U would see total fare being subtracted. Check the marked rides.

since you won't listen, they take 100% of your cash trips instead of 25%, go to their office and complain

I'm not angry, but you're looking at it from one side, check your total weekly earnings, you'll see cash collected in minus, you're looking at one page and drawing conclusions from there. write out all your trips in a sheet of paper and manually do the maths. I rest my case

I think I have seen it all clear.
It's same thing.

They add it twice 175% - 100% = 75%

The engine number is stamped on the engine block. Since the engine number location varies by engine, you will need to refer to the Specifications section of your Owner's Manual to find a picture of the relative location of the engine number on your vehicle
Further questions let me know.

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Schiphol(m): 10:58am On Apr 06, 2018
You must have reviewed a trip few days ago. What you see shows that they are done with the review.
But the big question is, do they really add anything to the fare or do they return the same amount you complained about?
Does it really worth it reviewing fare with Ta**fy?

No it's not, Taxify is sh*t. you do a fare review and they add a dummy cash trip to your dashboard and still charge Commission on it, only do review on card trips, check estimate to know how much you'll collect from a rider in case of failed trip
