I'd like to know what percentage of your salary is used to finance your annual rent. Is the accommodation standard to your liking?

I know its not a one-size-fits-all thing, but I'd like to get the generally feeling on this issue.

If the former, I assure you 80% of Nigerians monthly salary wont pay their annual rent, if it could then that person is senseless to still be a tenant.

I save 50percent of my salary, Spend 30percent on a monthly basis and 20percent goes to accommodation. I think 15-20percent of what you earn should be allocated to accommodation.

Well my 3 months salary caters for my annual rent. But i usually advise that your 2 months salary at most should cater for your rent. But most times, i rely on outside jobs or runs to pay rent. Hope this help

Most house rents are finance by tips, runs and fraudulent practices in work place. As a supplier i know what I see with workers especially admin /procurement people. Those guys cannot make heaven.
