Good day everyone,

Please explain the "emergency" option we have in the visa scheduling page. How does it works ? Do they charge extra ?

Thanks
check the link below and you will understand it better;

I smiled when I saw his comment sha

I'm even surprised why I rarely find any HBS /Wharton/Stanford GSB student here.

Taking loans is a thing of how risk averse you are. Maybe he is someone scared of taking risks and he opted not to take the $100k loan.

MBA recruitment is sensitive to ranking

Yes, his classmates join Boeing and Amazon but he can't compare the percentage of his class that joined those firms to the class at a top 10 program.

Also, the possibility of joining those programs from a lowly ranked school is difficult.

MBA is non STEM but there is a plethora of jobs and opportunities for people in top programs including international students.

It's your responsibility to grab those opportunities and utilize them to your best.

A LARGE number of Nigerians took those loans and are working in some of the best companies in the world now.

Those opportunities wouldn't have come if they had taken those fully funded offers to lowly ranked programs.

The big boys hire from top programs. Most people who take those loans do it cos they want to join some specific companies.

You can't compare the percentage of Kellogg MBA class entering McKinsey, Bain or Boston as Associates to the percentage of University of Texas Dallas MBA class entering those firms

You cant also compare the percentage of Wharton MBA class entering top Private Equity firms to the percentage of George Washington University MBA students entering those firms

My advice to anyone seeking to go for MBA is to visit websites like gmatclub.com, poetsandquants.com and beatthegmat to learn more from people in the field.

Taking advice from someone who doesn't know Jack about MBA programs is detrimental to your future. The only thing they tell you is "MBA is non-STEM" .
Are you in the US at all? or you're just reading all these up? You seem to have a few things mixed up here.

In this 21st century, I don't have to be in the US to know that
We have LinkedIn and several other social media pages where you can connect with them and learn from their experiences

I did that and learnt a lot from them including the challenges they faced

And thats why I feel uncomfortable seeing people with no experience of these programs tell false stories and mislead people.

A top 10 MBA grad should share his experience here

Mind you, my analysis is for top 10 US MBA programs on US News. Anything below top 10 is not covered by my analysis.

Hi guys ; 2.2 in quantity surveying isn't a great result to get admission for masters in project management or even get scholarships, in the US, I'm I not supposed to sit for exams like GRE or TOEFl to help boost my chances or should I apply before sitting for the exams. Plz I'm confused here I need urgent answer.
Secondly, can I still apply for 2019 fall admission? Considering the short period time remaining? Or should I patiently prepare for spring 2019?

Lastly, which exam do I take? GRE or TOEFL considering my course of study and school.
Thanks in advance

Yes SEVIS fee.
I'm sorry this is coming rather late, if you paid SEVIS fee in less than a year ago, you don't need to pay any dime to anybody. If you've changed the school you're going from the previous, all you need do is change the SEVIS from that school to the latter. Stay blessed bro.

Hello house, please I have a question of urgent reply. I will be applying for my F1 visa soon and my uncle is my sole sponsor which is stated in I-20 form. Also I also have a personal saving over the years which is equivalent to half of the money required for my program which was not stated in my I-20 form. My question is this, is it advisable to go along with my own personal SOA adding to my uncle SOA. Knowing fully well that his SOA has more than the required fund needed as stated invmy I-20. I also have properties which I intend going along with my properties documents as a proof that I will definitely return after my program. Please house will all this increase my chances of approval?

I can see that you're damn anxious bout this F1 visa interview. The truth is you only have to prove that you're a genuine student and going with your uncles SOA isn't a limitation to your visa approval at all. On the landed properties docs; it's not required cos this is a F1 visa you talking bout not a B1... Bottom line is prove you are genuine, do your homework perfectly and boom! you'll have your visa. God bless.

No am not applying as a transfer student but rather I applied for a second degree which eventually makes me study it for 2 years

Hey, look you can get into a masters program even with that CGPA. I was waiting to be done with everything before posting my story.
My undergraduate CGPA was 2.7/5, Geophysics.
2.8/4 - transcript evaluation.
That didn't stop me. I applied for fall 2017 and got back to back rejects. Just an admit from one but couldn't attend due to lack of funds.
I sat for the GRE but my score wasn't stellar either. 295...Quant 151. I didn't mind.
I applied to 9 universities this fall. 4 rejects, 5 admits with some sort of funding in some.
Everything is about packaging and knowing what you want.
Your Statement of Purpose, Recommendation letters, Resume should all be on point. And a drive to succeed on your intended course of study. E.g...if it's Geosciences or CS, what are the computer applications you can use that can make you valuable in that field. What courses have you gotten yourself trained in to make your CV attractive?.
The God factor and several other factors.
I make use of Yocket, Quora and gradcafe a lot.
Especially Yocket because there you'll get school reviews and find and connect with so many Indians with similar profiles or even lesser and you'll also be able to channel your choice of schools according to your profile.
Don't ever think you can't get into grad school with a 2.7 CGPA.

Good luck.

Please I will appreciate if you can tell me the list of schools you applied to biko.

if your grade is not even great for admission and you want to boost your profile , that would be GRE for sure not TOEFL ............. TOEFL is an english proficiency test . Quote from Google : GRE is used to determine how prepared a test-taker is for graduate-level coursework, while the TOEFL measures English language skills.

There still time for both spring and fall 2019 , although fall has more funding opportunities ... The decision of which to apply is you that has to determine that
