You can use the internet to search for this opportunity you want, to see if any like that exists and if it does You can read the requirements and see if you fit in.
have done that already. the ones I saw online are not fully funded, some are for just a semester while others are money grant that will not cover tuition fee

Check the scandinavian countries. I however doubt that they are disability friendly. At least i am certain that Norway isn't but people who are disabled survive somehow. On the other hand you may want to explore opportunities in other places e.. Australia. Like someone mentioned, you need to spend time on the internet and if in doubt send mails to and institution you are interested in.

I will send emails to schools to see if there is any

Hello everyone please I need to attend a conference in the UK by may ending. I am a grant winner and the fund MOST be used to attend a conference anywhere in the world. I chose a conference in the UK because it's of interest to me. The grant is $5000. I am employed but I don't earn much(50k), the grant money has been paid into my Dom account. I have registered for the conference but haven't paid yet. The sponsors have booked the flights themselves and issued a letter to show that they are covering all expenses. I'm staying for 4days. Please help

Ask your question, you still haven't asked any question

help with this please

I would advise you to put in your application ASAP of you are attending a meeting in May as it appears these guys have started wasting peoples time and holding on to passports for longer than is necessary. Perhaps you should consider paying for fast track.

Ideally, considering that the entire trip is paid for (and you have received the funds) i don't think you shd have a problem as you only beed to prove ties and also show that your training/work is related to whatever conference/meeting you are attending.

Check the Uk gov website and you can add any other document that you think will help your case and secondly when it’s time to pay you’ll see the paga option so just choose that , it’s orett straightforward

You can ask for a renewal once validity is less than six months or if you intend making a trip in that period just like your case is, you may have to prove the oncoming trip some times though.

ekpotek:

You are allowed to renew your passport if the validity is less than 6 months or there are no free pages for visa sticker. I have done two renewal within 2 years of passport expiration as there were no free pages left for visa stickers.

What you need to enter the UK is your Biometric Resident Permit if you have one or valid visa sticker on your passport expired or not.

I use my business as my other sources of income and it’s an enterprise too, you’ll need tax clearance, well you’ll fill in your position in your registered business and explain what you do in the additional information part.

@all gurus

I will like to fill the online form and also pay the visa fee on Monday, I want to know when I am likely to get an appointment.
do I choose my appointment date myself or is it automatically selected by the system??

reason is I am expecting some change to add to the balance by ending of this month..

Good day elders in the house, your boy needs some guidance.
Got my certificate of sponsorship for my Tier 2 visa 2 days ago. I'm scheduled to resume June 4. I was originally scheduled to resume May 14 but someone in recruitment forgot to issue m the COS after it had long been assigned so resumption date was changed from may 14 to June 4. I wouldn't want this date to be moved forward again although the COS expires July 6.
My challenge now is my English language proficiency requirement. I had issues with UKNARIC so I had to quickly put in for IELTS which I sat for yesterday and I'm very confident of the outcome. Results expected April 20.
My question is, if I commence my Tier 2 visa applications after April 20, let's say April 23/25 will my visa be out well before the June 4 resumption date?
Someone said its a gamble and advised I use priority but I'm a bit confused about the cost of priority for Tier 2, I'm getting different figures from different sites.
https://uk.tlscontact.com/ng/lgv/page.php?pid=added_value_services#Priority-Visa £184 for non settlement visa within 5 working days. And £551 for settlement visa within 30 working days ( which sounds strange to me, I thought it's usually within 15 working days without priority)
https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-priority-applications says £941(I'm on the shortage occupation list, but I suspect this doesn't apply to me cos the site says you can only use this service in the UK.
In summary, what's the cost of priority for Tier 2, applying from Nigeria. And what are my chances of getting a reply well before June 4 if I apply after April 20 without priority.
Thanks

The visa can be issue to you less than 3weeks as far you have all documents with you. Can you share more light on how you get the Sponsor /COS.

Sure if you want to do it now. You can also renew it after you trip to Nigeria as the passport will still be valid.

Did my daughter passport last year and it took 3months for the collection. I did mine March 13th this year and collected it a week after. I was flying to Italy on the day of my passport collection. I was denied boarding because my old Passport was with 88days validity. Don't be a victim like me

Hello Phenmeson,

Thanks for responding to my post. I have a quick question for you about your passport renewal. I just applied for my daughter's passport and i was given two appointment days to attend in London; one for interview and another date for passport appointment booking (probably the day biometric is going to be captured). My question is did you attend on both days? I don't understand the need to have to go to London on two separate days; it is definitely not convenient for those of us outside of London.

I'd love to renew my passport before my trip but as the guys have mentioned earlier, i cannot do so until it has less than 6 months expiry and that should be in June. Maybe i will have to try my luck and book an appointment for mid June and pray it comes out before October.

I fulfilled the conditions required to practice my profession in the UK, paid for my license, applied for a job, got an offer, my employer applied for the COS and issued me the COS.

Urgent advice needed please. Is there any difference between these sites https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/apply-uk-visa & https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/home/welcome. I understand the latter is the old site which is gradually being phased out.
I started my Tier 2 application on the new site but someone told me the new site is for visiting visas for now and he wasn't sure if the new site can be used for Tier 2 applications yet.
To be on the safe side I opened an account on the old site and restarted my application, however, the old site has been giving me this error message since yesterday and I can't continue my application but my account on the new site isn't having such issues.
My question is; can I continue my application using the new site? Is it accepted for Tier 2 visas yet?
I intend using Ikeja.
Please response needed urgently, I wish to sort this out today.
Thanks.

I think it will depend on your layover time in turkey. but all the same u have a UK visa so no need for a transit visa but if you would like to enter turkey then you can apply for the evisa on arrival I think it's just $40.

In addition to the above. If possible include your wife and her sister birth certificates!

@ Ekpotek and Justwise,

I need a clarification on this- my wife's sister and her husband in UK invited us for a family reunion but the documents submitted and account statements were for the husband (being the sponsor).

We were rejected on the basis that the documents sent doesn't show we re related. However, we intend to reapply with my wife's sister birth certificate, marriage certificate and pictures of my wife and her sister.

Also, we are attaching the various emails, telephone chats etc. I have included this in the cover letter that the wife is a sister to my wife.

Are we in order with this application? What do we need to add again?

I've made my online application for My Tier 2 visa, I used IELTS for my English proficiency, used my IELTS reference number in filling my application.
I intend going for my biometrics tomorrow using the walk in option, my question is; do I need to go with my IELTS certificate to the VAC? My IELTS results was released on Friday April 20, and I'm not sure if the certificate will be ready for collection by tomorrow Monday April 23.
