Explorers: This is unnecessary. Cease the responses to any issues outside the scope of the underhanded sale being discussed. Cut a path through the distractions and keep the focus on the real issues. |

sometimes I wonder y people choose not to assimilate or understand trivial issues before commenting. let's look @ a similar although a more sensitive scenario.... a friend of urs develops a condition that needs a body part sourced from overseas, ur friend starts accumulating cash from every nook and cranny finally he generates just enough cash for that procedure. he meets the first surgeon, the surgeon tells him that he has it in stock and it's very clean, the previous owner was very very healthy before the retrieval and he is assuring him it's a good buy. he proceeds with the procedure only for him to find out after the whole process that the part was actually sourced abroad albeit with some serious issues although curable through some other laboratory processes. how would u feel for ur friend? price wasn't the main issue now here's the focus: 1. the surgeon lack integrity significantly. the fact that he lied originally also means he must have cut some corners in the procedure maybe to make profit or to hasten up the process. the intent doesn't really count here as long as integrity has been breached. he might have even recycled syringes while at it. as long as he has no Integrity, there's no limit to what he can accomplish "negatively" 2. Nigeria is a place where cutting corners is the order of the day. since it has been established that the organ/part was sourced internationally at a cheap rate only for it to be cleansed locally. people that cleansing cannot be up to 50percent thorough. I assure u. he must have cut corners to max out his profit. when someone with an extreme tendency is tasked with such demanding activity u can always count on the fact that he will undeliver and cover it up with paint. the point is the fact that someone that portrayed scrap as clean title after repairing it; cannot be trusted to have duly replaced vital parts. its possible he just patched up the parts. and then most offensive is the fact that he couldn't divulge the Salvage value 5 Likes |

We just have to b very careful wen purchasing vehicles, Nd if Ur knowledge abt vehicles isn't above average, go wt someone who really knows abt vehicles Nd whom u trust. |

Over a year now, the old man has been working to own a 2008 Corolla due to the low fuel consumption. We both talked about the car several times and because of the price, he went for a 2006. So papa, a boss and also a father brought this Corolla to the office on Monday with dealer claiming papa is very lucky to get a clean title and accident free car like this. Congratulations sir! congratulations sir!! everywhere(Civil servant na) Sir, how much did you get it? He said over 2.2m. But i noticed that the bumper, headlamps and the grill are kind of not in line(Space between them). So i shot the vin, the first picture and brought it to one of my thread for assistance(cosplay). And i got this result. Can i tell him? Bros abeg, how did you check this cos am about buying 1 also. Help with d procedure or site to check make I no fall u guys. Please na beg I dey |

signature2012: There is no wickedness there. The car got to Nigeria with about 1.5m. What about the money used in bringing the vehicle to its present state? I believe the seller did not even make up to 300k in this business. The most important thing is that the buyer is enjoying his car. |
Re: $275 In U.S, ₦2.2m In Nigeria, See The Clean Title Corolla Sold To My Boss(Pics by Cosplay: 1:55pm On Apr 28, 2018 |
kenlinzo: Ignorance is not always bliss. What you don't know CAN hurt you. Try not to get hung up on the pricing and focus on the deliberate withholding of relevant information necessary to make informed decisions and the deliberate misinformation and misrepresentation of damaged merchandise as otherwise undamaged by the seller. No, that is certainly not the 'most important thing'. On that we will have to disagree. The end does not always justify the means. 2 Likes |

Most people here are jumping up and down talking rubbish. The "last bid" price is not necessarily the accepted final price. Very few people can afford a clean title corolla. Almost 90% of cars brought to the country are salvaged. That automatically reflects on the prices. Will anyone be willing to pay N3m plus for a Corolla? These people are the same ones that will be yelling thief! As long as the damage does not affect the enjoyment of the car, i will say carry go! 1 Like |

Re: $275 In U.S, ₦2.2m In Nigeria, See The Clean Title Corolla Sold To My Boss(Pics by salford1: 8:25pm On Apr 28, 2018 |
Stateside:Exactly. I can buy an accidented car, good deal if the damage was properly repaired, but best to stay away from a vehicle insurance termed write off or salvage or any vehicle that won't pass a mechanical safety inspection to be driven on American roads. But looking at the accident pics posted of the car, it would likely be an insurance write off. The cost of repair in the US would be more than the value of the car if using OEM parts plus labour. |

aspirebig:obviously. That is why they are sold cheaper. A very clean version of that 06 corolla or one with an accident that was repaired on an insurance claim would cost close to $7000-$8000 here in Canada. How much more when you factor cost of shipping/clearing and all. 1 Like |
