Tomorrow, these ones will be juxtaposed with the top middle class individuals relocating to Canada. And a cretin will now declare something is wrong with Canada

years ago... we were doing fine, other African countries envied us, we were regarded as the backbone of Africa, her pride and her hope for civilization... but today, here we are, tribalism, hatred, resentment, corruption, greed has ruined our great nation, everybody is running away, the youth kill themselves for politicians who don't give a Bleep about them...if, only death was not a sin, then I would have ended the miserable lives of those politicians, starting from the president to the Senate... they have ruined Nigeria

Please when was this?

People imagine that once they cross the border into Canada that it's happily ever after...They don't know that many asylum seekers are eventually deported.

In 2017 Canada deported over 8000 asylum seekers according to reports. You can bet that number will increase this year. This is fast becoming a topical issue in Canada and with the coming elections next year, the sentiment might move to tightening the immigration process that the Liberals have put in place.

And yes, very well it should be.

The Canadian government is now urging the US embassy in Nigeria to stop gving out visas like candy to Nigerian applicants who seek US visas and that they should try to use more stricter screening measures to ensure that Nigerians who are granted US visitor visas do intend to return back to Nigeria.

Huh...it obvious that these people dont know that some Nigerian are very good expert liars when it comes to convincing the US visas officers to grant them visas. undecided
... And when they use those lies or deception to get the visa, you will see them in the church for Thanksgiving

Be there making mouth.

Are you in the states yourself?

Modified:

I just realised how hypocritical you are.

On another thread you are canvassing for PDP flagbearers at the 2019 elections.

You had Your preference in Dankwabo but made room for Markafi and Atiku.

Yet it is the same you saying Aboki rulers have ruined Nigeria.

You don't blame the guy for his comment.

He's trying to make do of a lesser evil

Nigerian leaders and her peoples have ruined this country

Today, we gave become person non grata

The effect of this is that US visitor visas would be more difficult to get.

For new applicants and not for people who had multiples Visa's in the last 10years

lol....the word hypocritical is abused. Aboki means an uneducates hausa man in street palance. Tell me apart from yaradua (who I think is the best Nigeria ever had) any other northern ruler with education so far? Dankwambo on the other hand is a phd holder and an accomplished accountant. Are northerners not Nigerians? I dont hate them...i just hate the uneducated ones who happen to get their masses support to run the country aground because of bigotry

It is already very difficult to get a Visiting Visa to the U. S. Those that are able to get it usually have high paying jobs and quite successful in Nigeria.

The bigger problem is the brain drain going on in this country. When the "educated elites" feel the need to take this kind of route, all in the bid to leave Nigeria. It leads one to question our survival as a country.

The future indeed looks bleak, the Doctors are leaving, The smart, intelligent graduates are leaving for further studies abroad without plan of coming back. We are losing our Intellectual and human capital on a daily basis. Then who are those left to develop the country?
2000 doctors a day leave

Our leaders should be totally ashamed of themselves reading all these things happening to Nigerians. I mean this is a country blessed with everything and I mean everything. Good weather, good aquatic splendour, natural resources, beautiful people, tall and able bodied men and women, Oceans for seaport and trade and tourism, minerals, coal, oil, good arable land for agriculture.

So why on Earth are we still see so beggarly. No Nigerian should ever be seen in a situation like this smuggling their way to go and become refugee in a hard cold environment.
The enemies of our dear country should please leave her alone let visionary and patriotic nationals bring out the milk and honey flowing in our land. What sort of wicked leaders do we have in this country that cannot think of country first. If we need to break this nation then let us agree to agree we cannot continue like this. We don't belong where some wicked people in this Nigeria want to put us. No we don't belong there. We are great because God has made us so, we have everything to be greater than America and Canada put together.

Why are the Canadians complaining? Were they not mocking Trump and his anti-immigration stance.

Biko, they should accommodate them. The US has one of the most stringent visa applications. Anyone that gets into the US should be able to enter Canada.

-Lord

So you think because Canada is more liberal, they should just throw their borders open for any illegal immigrant in US. Just to enlighten your ignorant suggestion, Canada population is mere 36 million compare to US that is over 325 million. Influx of illegal immigrants from US will significantly affect the welfare system and economic plan of the country.

Anyone that gets into the US should be able to enter Canada.

For the quoted above, after September 11, you need a visa to enter Canada from US and vice versa unless you have a Canadian passport or US passport. Even a permanent resident in Canada needs a visa to enter US and same applies to US permanent resident. The fact that Canada is still accepting these illegal immigrants without Canadian visas shows how hospitable Canada is. US will never do the same if it were to be the other way round. US should get their shiit together and be accountable for people they give visiting visa
Just so you know. Canada and US are 2 separate countries.

I expect to see Northern Christians from Borno and Adamawa states with names like Mshelia,Msheliza,Balami,Zoaka etc and Muslims in same region with names like Abba kyari,Bulami,Bukar Mandara,Maina,Bantam etc as names of those seeking asylum from Boko Haram. Not Chukwuma who lived all his life in Owerri and Lagos and has never been to the middle belt talk more of core north. Some are even seeking asylum based on sexual orientation.SCAM!!!
