There is this fb page called "mamalettes", if u read some of the pieces of advice on that page, u will marvel at the stupidity,wickedness and crass ignorance of some people,especially married women.

Mamalette page is even better, go to "Once a mum, always a mum" (OMAM) page where they got this story from and see all sorts of heartbreaking stories and disgusting pieces of advice that comes with them. You know the woman's family have two options going to court, either go for a criminal trial or a civil case in tort which they will seek for damages. Why go through the hustle of court with all the fees involved when the man can settle the girl and her family. Nothing disgusting about this. Unless you prefer the man go to jail for 10+ for defilement with peanuts for damages. What good is that to the truamatized little girl and her family?

The man did a terrible thing, i didnt see anywhere in the woman's note that she wants a divorce. Justice can be served in several ways, i may sound insensitive to you, but i'm looking at the bigger picture. I dont agree with the wife keeping the incident from her family but you have to also consider if they have children....send the man to jail and gain what? The man can only become better with the help of his wife and family. Taking him to jail won't help him get better, he will come out and defile more children

Last i checked there was nothing wrong with being rational. Some of us dont make our emotions get the better of us. That's my opinion! The woman should tell her family and both families should come together and resolve it with an out-of-court settlement. The lady together with her husband's family must see to it that he's given the needed treatment or rehabilitation.

The right thing is for him to go to jail. There's nothing like settlement when it comes to a child.
A criminal case should be instituted against the bastard, and a civil case can also be instituted.
The civil can follow the criminal case. He will be put in jail, and will also pay financially for his wickedness.
