Still here folks. Stopped following Part 1 on page 400 (about the time spyroxy1 got grant). Had a disappointing IELTS (9.0,8.5, 7.5,7.0) result again. EOR took more than three months and still came back negative. I need 20 maximum points. Got discouraged and abandoned thread.

But I am back..

Please who knows which organization issues business license or permit, it's required by TRA for self employed assessment.

What exactly did they ask for? Your business licence? That should be certificate of business registration with CAC. I don't think trade occupations are regularised like that in Nigeria. Once you are done with apprenticeship, you do freedom, the remaining is to be collecting jobs..

That was exactly what I told myself.

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

Thanks. I will contact you if I do decide to go with TOEFL.

EOR = Enquiry on Result. It is simply a request for remark of one's IELTS result.

TookieJ:

I feel for you, bro. Sorry to hear about the recent setbacks. Nothing to do but pick yourself up and try again.

My handwriting is absolutely terrible, so I never bothered with IELTS; went with TOEFL instead. I could share the simulator I used - but, to be honest, it may not address the weak points you identified (speaking and writing). While the simulator has all 4 sections, it doesn't quite grade your speaking and writing (only reading and listening are graded). It might help with confidence, though. Happy to share, if you still feel its worth it.

I'm not sure I know what an "EOR" is - but I'm sure there are people on this thread with enough insight and experience to help you beat it.

Good luck as you pick yourself back up.

Thanks for your prompt response. Where do I search the skill? Do I need to have written test of English language first?
wapu:

Start by searching for a skill that corresponds with what your or your wife does.
If the skill is sponsored by any state.

Then you can ask about how to go about assessing the skill.

Most airlines is 32 weeks and below. She would need to get a certificate from port health at the airport stating how far gone she is. Its compulsory.
For new baby, I dont think there is any restriction.

Thank you sir for your prompt response, the company is already registered with CAC. Attached is exactly what TRA asked for. I want to know what they need in number 2.

@chytai,

It means the licence given by the body in charge of your occupation. I am not sure we have such for tradies in Nigeria.

Explain the process of practising your occupation to them. Attach your membership certificate and whatever you can get to show you are actively practising your occupation.

Good day. considering the less competitive nature of Agric consultants (about 93% availability left as at April 2018) you still stand a chance. However try and see how you can add 5 points to make it faster.

Please i have a little question...i assume you got a yes from vetassess. Can i know your background and experience? I need to be sure that i can get a yes also. Please inbox me your number. Thanks

Lol,funny you@its not me oo

Most Airlines do 36weeks max with a fit to fly it's a long trip won't advice the risk.

Babies flying is Airline dependent some say 2days some 7days some 2weeks so she needs to check with the Airline.

Most Importantly am assuming this person is in Nigeria If so is there any particular reason/reasons she may want to stay back and have the baby or its just fear of support system,What's the Aussie visa status if PR do they know their child gets citizenship if born there? That would be one less family member to worry about then let me add the better medical care over there. Please ask them to carefully research and weigh their options so they don't focus on the minors and forgo the major.

Based on current trend
@60 You cannot get ITA for visa 189, its currently @70 with a 4 months waiting period except you have 75+ for next round invite
with 65 you may land a 190 ITA
with 60 you may land a 489 ITA

Try to increase your score

Hi,

Thanks to the admin for creating a second page for this group.
Please i need help in my inquiry and yes, i have read page 0 and understand the process for application to some extent.

But i need a little explanation.

Am a chartered accountant ( ICAN ) with a Bsc in accounting ( Delta state university)
i have over 10 yrs working experience ( 3yrs in external audit and 8yrs as an internal control officer in one of the Nigerian banks )
So my questions are

1. will i get separate point for my ICAN and Bsc accounting evaluations
2. My experience is mainly on external audit and internal control which are branches of accounting but i observed that Internal control is not on the list of 189 so what group should i classify it as ( This is the bulk of my experience )

Answers to these will help kick start my application process on knowing which body to verify my credentials and experience.

Thanks

It appears visa class 489 is a slavery visa. The thing is that you are invited to a party , but you must come with your own food and drinks. The moment your food and drink finish you are told to go back home! You are not really needed.
