Order for your Gcms notes, you will come close to the heart of the real reason you are denied than the generic list checked and you have listed here. I will advice you work on convincing them of your return, travel history will go away by itself. Do you have landed property in your name or bequeathed to you by a family member? That can help as a tie. Wife children or aged parents that depend on you for support? These are all ties and you need to elucidate how they can induce your return back to your home.

Ps: Your finances are fine that is why it was not a reason for your denial.

It is better to be safe than to be sorry. Stating sponsor’s number of defendants if any, is a very important information. I will advice you be in communication with your co-sponsor via email or phone and enact the necessary correction to your sponsorship letter, including number of defendants. No, such info is not demanded as part of the online process. If you do not include such information on your sponsorship letter, the VO May deny your application based on insufficient funds because there is never a way to tell that your co-sponsor is financially solvent. Yes even if this person is not your main sponsor, this information needs to be included. Even though not your main sponsor, his contribution to your education may be significant to be a game changer. It is important to cross all your t’s dot all your i’s to prevent stories that touch.
Thanks bro..
I was in talk with him this morning and he made me know that, it’s possible for him to edit and sign the letter electronically as that’s what he did on the previous letter he gave me. Pls, can you review my LOE?

Now, I have a question: since there is an opportunity for me to add info again, my main sponsor is covering the larger percentage of my fund which is living expenses while my co-sponsor will be covering tuition fee. Please which one is good; For each of my sponsor to state the exact amount and part they will be supporting me with Or to just state that they will be supporting my education in Canada, which one is the good enough?

Cc: Frankrobbn1, Newman1010 and others pls

Hi Frank,

Thanks for your reply. My Co-Sponsor didn’t mention any of his dependant in the sponsorship letter he gave to me. Right now, he’s not around to give me another one, and am submitting my application in few days to this time. Please, can I address this in my LOE/SOP? By stating his dependants? Can this really work?

@ All, please I also need your suggestions on this.

And please, I really need someone to review my SOP too.

God bless you all

Good! Unfortunately I don’t review LOE except in emergency cases. I only answer questions here or review case files and give advice. Each sponsor must state the exact amount they are willing g to dole out each year towards your support. You need to present evidence too that you have money for tickets, someone has to pay for it or you have to present evidence that you yourself can pay.

Does the bolded apply in case of funded programs where you'll be paid from Canada?

Yes it does. Even if you have a full scholarship, you have to show evidence that you have money to fund the travel. That is why fully funded applicants have to submit their SOA as well. To show they can afford ticket. It’s also an important indicator of asset and financial ability which can be ties to Nigeria.

Hmmm. Is that to say if you don't have money ready in your account to fund the travel they'd deny you visa? They don't know someone can easily run around to gather travelling expenses once the visa is handy? Well Ive seen someone who didnt submit SOA and got visa.

I have seen many, very many denied for failure to show funds on how they are going to defray their travel cost to Canada. It’s even one of the generic reason for denials a VO can check on the refusal sheet. They don’t want to speculate whether you can run around and get ticket after visa is granted. They want to see evidence. The person that got visa without SOA I guess convinced them one way or the other he could get ticket or he simply was just lucky. It’s great when it happens, but I dont speculate on luck here either. I have to advise based on evidence not luck.

Hello "Québecian"

I applied for CAQ march 19th got their email that my application has been approved on 18th of April and a copy has been mailed to my address(I used home address as mailing address). it's been 3weeks now and have not received it.

My questions
1. How many days after approval did you get your mailed CAQ? Did you use home address or office address?

2. I know one can apply for TRV with the email copy of CAQ. but at the point of entry to Canada will they request for original copy?

3. Finished NYSC 2017 MAY. started working early march 2018. And I'm only submitting employment letter and ID CARD. Is that OK?

4. I have less than 50k in my personal SOA should I submit it or just go with my sponsors SOA?

Please help me address all this issue. I'm submitting my TRV this week.

Hey man, you have to relax got my CAQ approval April 7th and I applied April 9th just got my CAQ delivered yesterday so it might take up to a month before the delivery.

I’ve been following and I just submitted my application via the online route.

Please pray for me and add me to the hopefuls. I can share what I submitted with anyone who cares to know.

Please when will they call me for biometrics and how long do we think it will take before they get back to me?

Thank you!

For some schools it’s not. Just start by looking at schools based on your preference. Ie tuition cost or location or living expense. And most importantly, for schools that are still admitting for the fall

Hello everyone,
For someone that applied online in a country where there is no visa application center, how can he figure out where in the world his application is been processed? Can he calculate his processing time using the country he sent out online application or the country where the application is been processed??

Very true. There was this moniker, McOsheBaba in 2017. He had a full scholarship, but was denied when he applied without SOA. He got someone to sponsor his flight costs and reapplied and was approved. The SOA doesn't necessarily have to be your personal one. Any family member will do.

90% of asylum seekers crossing into Canada don't meet the criteria to stay, feds say. They say there's been an uptick in the number of Nigerians who cross in after a brief stay in the US. The gov't says it will add 64 people to help process 17,000 claims and 3,000 appeals.
