Look at the same People hailing the Boko Haram fighters the other day after releasing their girls...
Now they are hailing the Nigerian Army grin grin

All what the people want is happiness... No matter who is giving it.
The Nigerian govt and the Army does not have exclusive right to the people's "hailing".

Whoever deserve the hailing gets the hailing ! Period. Full stop.

Not quite. Civilians in any area engulfed by conflict do generally take/have sides that enjoy their truest sympathies. It is just that the cheering of civilians for combatants that invade their area is never the truest reflection of feelings . In order words, the cheering is the civilians survival mechanism not at all dependant on which combatants historically doles out the greatest largesse.

....cheering Bokoharam and Cheering Nigeria Military does not mean the civilians in the area are fickle. They may genuinely cheer the Nigerian army roiling into town and disingenuously cheer Bokoharam rolling into town. The latter being a defence mechanism to placate Bokoharam.

Sometimes i get the feeling that these stories about a million people being rescued is just an evacuation of civilians with nowhere to go and in harms way.
I mean, how do you rescue that many people without news of a single terrorist dead? Are captives left unguarded? okay

People wouldn't apperreciate the extend of what they are doing; like these 1000 captives freed from BH enclaves. No video/picture ..... cool

CAPTION THESE... grin

Here is a picture showing how the guns used by the guards of honour are thoroughly checked before they are used to welcome president Muhammadu Buhari anytime he arrives to the country or for a state event. The guns are properly checked by the president's security personnel who even smells the guns to avoid any unfortunate incident or tragedy during the president's arrival, according to an information revealed by president Buhari's personal photographer, Bayo Omoboriowo.

NIGERIAN AIR FORCE ALPHA JET AIRCRAFT NEUTRALIZES SCORES OF BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS DURING CLOSE AIR SUPPORT

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft yesterday, 7 May 2018, neutralized scores of Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) while providing Close Air Support (CAS) to ground troops. The successful air strike by the NAF Alpha Jet aircraft followed calls from the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division of the Nigerian Army (NA) that troops conducting clearance operations at Koleram had come in contact with BHTs. The GOC therefore requested for support from the NAF, sequel to which the Alpha Jet aircraft was immediately scrambled to provide CAS. On arrival over the location, there were exchanges of fire between BHTs and our ground forces. The crew of a Nigerien Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft established contact with the ground troops and guided the Alpha Jet aircraft crew to the major source of fire from the BHTs, which was seen coming from a particular settlement. Consequently, the NAF Alpha Jet aircraft engaged the target with rockets and cannons thus neutralizing the BHTs and destroying their weapons. The Air Task Force will continue to conduct missions, on request, in support of the efforts of our troops in the counterinsurgency operations in the Northeast.

Among the 1000+ people rescued by the Nigeria Army, profiling is ongoing as the Department of Civil Military Affairs are taken adequate care of the sick. Most of which are women and children.

I want to organize 10 days fasting and prayers on this thread, so that God can touch the hearts of those In charge of civil military relations at the NA and NN so they can be like our AVM OA Adesanya.

We need Quality pictures and videos daily!

It’s not a difficult task and it doesn’t cost much, how much does it take take NAF to publish pictures videos and release statements daily on Facebook, insta and Twitter? Not much, but the positive impacts are immeasurable!
