What do you want the NFF to do? Send him a special trainer or send him a special invite to the Super Eagles for training purposes? So what happens to other young talented players? They will be left out while a position is practically reserved for a player that you cannot be sure he will come out good?

Was he not part of the last Flying Eagles? Was he not tutored by Amuneke in the U20 camp?

Now he is eligible for the U23 he should make himself available for screening/selection.And you say it is same as folding of arms.

We should do more we should do more. Forgetting that the best place for those players to develop are at their clubs. How many times do national teams meet in a year. No favoritism please. Any player that comes out good irrespective of whether he was an U17 product or not, he should be invited to the Super Eagles please.

Of course,Mikel can play the CM role very well.. he has been doing that for long.. But the thing is,age has caught up with him.. His pace as reduced unlike before... CMFs have to be fast and disciplined enough to cover the defence and attack at the same time.. Mikel should keep playing the AMF role.. Iwobi can always come in for him in the second half..
A midfield combo of Ndidi -DM Etebo-CM Mikel-AM will be juicy... if Mikel is subbed off in the 2nd half, Iwobi can move to AM while Etebo to the wing or another player takes the wing..
Our team has a lot of versatile players...that's a big plus for us

We should not wait until Iheanacho scored the goal for Manchester City against Crystal Palace before he becomes part of the Super Eagles. The Team B should be an extension of the Super Eagles and if someone prolific comes out of it, we should not wait him to do well in the club before he gets a nod. We should not let the clubs be the only decider. We should do more to help develop a larger pool of players.

I think it is best for Victor Moses to be allowed to interchange on the flanks. Putting on the RM will limit is movement across the flanks.

The U21 can help but keep in mind, we also have players who are above 21 fighting for places in the team too. A good example is Sone Aluko. We need more activities for our players. A U21 team does this too.

There u go with more lopsided examples. They played at striker because the team didn't have any other option. For crying out loud Eder- was their back up, if that doesn't scream of lack of quality then I don't know what does.
We already have Iwobi and Nacho that combined for 3 goals and an assist as strikers in the 3-5-2, we also have Ighalo and Musa who will also get a look so what is the big deal if Moses plays in a position that he has shown he can win matches in. I don't get wat the fuss really is about tbh. Its not like I am saying he should play goal keeper, this is a position he knows more than anyone on the team.

oga even if rohr dont make it out of the group he is miles ahead of keshi. keshi is the worst and biggest fraud that happened to nigerian football. during his stint with the team he nearly turned the team into a personal business and an avenue to market mediocre players to obscure leagues in europe. he didnt win the afcon because of his tactical acumen but out of luck and determination of the players who believed they can go all the way after eliminating the tournaments favorites CIV. rohr took the eagles job when all hope were lost, got talented and determined young players, brought the best from mikel by giving him the leadership role in the team and a sense of belonging and made the young team believe they can qualify from a group that had 4 afcon winners. gernot rohr is a blessing to nigerian football
