Very true. There are some coughs that actually needs a substance with codeine to cure it. I remember the humble days of benelyn with codeine

This country is a joke. They don't need to seal the company, their effort should be on regulating the sales of the product by educating our medicine and pharmaceutical stores . I remembered going to a pharmacy shop in abroad to buy Antibiotic, they demanded I get doctor's approval. When I try to pressure the young man, he told me he can't buy any product from the company if he couldn't give them account and documents on how he sold the first supply .

in this APC dispensation, so many double wahala we have witnessed. nothing seems hopeful in this Country.

It would be ridiculously Stupid to shut down a Production line just because of one corrupt staff, what about other staff's job at the production line? And genuine sick individuals who may need the so called codene. if one staff is corrupt investigate and sack him if guilty. case resolved.

Closing Emzor or banning production of Codine isn't the solution ,addicts will still find a way to get it if they have to pay through the nose , Sellers will find a way to get it , even if it means going to Cotonou


It'll get more expensive and you can expect crime rates to increase,


Note these points i made before some idiats start blaming buhari for increase in crime

Addicts finding way is not the problem. At least it won't be readily accessible. Ppl still snif cocaine abroad even in indonesia where there is death penalty for culprits... There is no absolute solution for anything in this world..

There are MANY other very potent antitussives. More potent than codeine and not even addictive. Do your research.

Dangote trucks have killed more Nigerians yet not one of his factory has been closed.
FRSC would have probably banned the transportation of cement by trucks and road if it was owned by an Easterner.
