Duuurh..
Edo and Yoruba have been meeting since time immemorial . grin
Probably the most common inter-ethnic marriage in the South.

I want to see Yoruba and an unknown tribe from Taraba or Adamawa.
E.g. Senator Grace Folasade Bent, Funmilayo Mustapha (Boss), Titi Atiku, Yemisi Suswan etc

Yep the unnatural floating came from bad advice from a parents.
And to correct ur misjudgment..
Igbomen font treat Yoruba women badly..
Igboen are known to be the best care takes of their wives.. I'm not saying this becoz I'm igbo. But its a fact most people know.
Even some Yoruba ladies that are not tribalistic known this.
There is a topic I'm looking for here.. I'm.yet to locate it when I do, I will use it to prove ur assertions wrong.

Ibknqo u are a Yoruba man so stop sounding like u are not
I am not Yoruba, but i have lived in Yoruba land for years and God willing I would marry from there, if I can.

Stop that your junk and chest beating about how Igbo men take care of their wives. sad I have told you before, the good, bad, ugly, lazy and downright useless, exist in every ethnic group, district and street. Every responsible Nigerian man, irrespective of his ethnic group, takes good care of his wife and family, not just an Igbo man.

Igbo man trying to marry Yoruba woman...

Who has experienced this? I just wana know. I have never dated a Yoruba girl and I wana know what its like
If truly you are an Igbo man I would advise you not to try it.

undecided because most of their parents brainwash them against Igbo's..especially their gals once they start growing...besides Yoruba women have foul mouth..but their ar some very good yoruba gals who behave gently mainly found in osun state.. They are less tribalised .
Thanks for understanding and appreciating truth abeg.

Don't mind the mugu. sad He has been recycling his petty propaganda on this thread for a while now....
It's just so bad. If you know you don't like/want a Yoruba woman as an Igbo guy, just stay on your lane. What I can't stand is how they keep saying all sort of rubbish about Yoruba women. No tribe is perfect. They should just ditch the single story narrative. Don't base the attitude of everyone in a tribe on the character exuded by the one you've been with. Now, what exactly is that pettiness against Yoruba guys? This is really absurd.

The man who says the truth must be ready to face off with those who love delusions. So am not surprised with the kind of comments to that candid post . I just Lol. The funniest part is that most of the Yoruba men and women commenting are already exhibiting the very unnecessary antagonism i talked about. What i wrote is just similar to saying many igbo girls loathe aboki men. Thats is not said in bad fate but merely stated a general fact but some may prefer to scatter their head for tge matter. I no send.

He's just an ignorant kid. Even claiming there are ebiras in Ondo state.

You do not even know what you are saying. sad Look at what you said: "Yoruba women are mostly fed by their women...." Which women? huh This is the same petty propaganda and rubbbish fallacy, that your people have been recycling for years. Two of my cousin's female friends are married to Yoruba men. One of them paid school fees of my cousin's younger brother in the UK, and has taken care of his wife and her family till date, over the past 12 years. He is a pure Yoruba man...and to think she did not even want to marry him initially, because she wasn't too keen on him. The second Yoruba guy who married my second cousin is also highly responsible, and takes great care of his wife and kids. Even when my cousin decided to go into private business, he didn't blink and supported her in cash and kind. I have seen first hand how far Yoruba men can go in taking care of their families. So stop saying what you do not know. You are too old to be spreading petty propaganda, recycled from civil war period... undecided

Your sister can marry from the moon. Nobody cares.... sad Na una sabi.
Guy calm down..Evry one knows that yu guys are very lazy..The epistle yu wrote cant change the fact.

Ibo men ad other tribes hardly marry yorubas,ad when they do they dont make noise about it becos they are ashamed of announcing it,but yu pipu see ibo ladies as jackpot ad american visa lottery becos of yur inferiority complex.

You're partially right and partially wrong. Most ladies don't have tribal minds unlike we guys. Especially these days when everyone is mixed and educated in a civilised society. Love and compatibility is the important thing. The real issue is with parents. Some yoruba Parents have ethnic and tribal bias mind, if their daughter wants to marry another yoruba ethnic or entirely diff. tribe. Many Igbo guys would have loved to marry Yoruba girls, if not for parent problem. Yoruba men too love to marry Igbo girls too, but I think igbo parents still have more support for inter tribal marriage than some Yoruba parents.
You are saying thesame thing i said in a more politically correct or sweet way. For the bolded, hope you know that more often than not, parent transfer their biases to the children from childhood and only few get to unlearn what they've been subliminally getting from tgeir parents. Anyways that just one of the reasons why what i posted holds Ofcouerse with the line for exceptions.

The average igbo man sees the Yoruba man as someone funny and treats him like that (poking fun at him) but yorubas take such treatment to heart and become hateful and antagonistic. Even in this thread you will notice it.

My cousin and a friend are victims. Lol
I have been living with them over here for years na so they can't get people like us grin

Respecting others sensitivities is the basic way to show you respect others

This thread doesn't even have to be about Igbo vs Yoruba, but your brothers had to bring that into the discussion

No sir, everybody can see the hatred oozing from your end. Your post is filled with untruth, and riddled with deceit. angry

). Your heart is filled with disdain and evil towards the Yoruba women...so you had to weave tales of propaganda to discredit them, by claiming they lack respect and are foul-mouthed. You even claimed that their parents are petty and primitive. sad

2). You tried to hide the true intentions of your Igbo brothers....by lying that Yoruba women have 'unnatural loathing' for Igbo men, instead of telling the truth that Igbo men just like using and dumping Yoruba women, which is why such women avoid them. shocked

3). You are a big deceiver....which is why you are making lousy claims about percentages of Yoruba men who do not take care of their wives, without having conducted any survey, throughout the southwest. sad

4). You are a blatant, notorious liar.... who is making false claims about me, simply because I debunked your false propaganda. undecided Please provide solid, incontrovertible proof to show that Laudate is Yoruba. Include the name of his town, local government area and traditional ruler, while you are at it. Every correct answer gets 20 marks.

I have not called your people any foul names, neither have I given them any derogatory labels. All I did was point out a habit of their men. If it upsets you, too bad!

You just summarized that guy and it almost matches with that my post. Also he is projecting what he is on Igbos. Imagine him saying igbos dump women as if Yorubas don't. Why were they nicknamed Yoruba demos in the first place?
