to me, strike back is so unbelievable. like they do some ridiculously daring missions and return without a single scratch fhs.

First of all, let's back up a bit. The theme of Strike Back is counterterrorism, which is also the sub-genre. The genre is action, thriller and drama. Now, mash this all together, and you have a show that is high in adrenaline, machismo, shootouts and explosions. Throw in a little bit espionage and we have a winner. That's what Strike Back is about.

Do you know another show out there that is identical in genre and sub-genre? 24. Did the show explore Jack's private life? No. Why? Because there wasn't time for that. The plot is fast paced and forward moving, literally left no space for backsies. So, when you use 24 to judge Strike Back. you'd begin to understand why the show doesn't have the time to explore the private lives of Sgt Stonebridge and Scott in the capacity you wanted them to. Also, they got hurt a lot during missions (I don't know where you get the idea they don't).

Comparing an action oriented show to a much slower Seal Team is strange indeed. It's apples and oranges - both are two different shows and have nothing in common. More importantly, rating a formulaic network show with lots of filler episodes over a cable show with bigger budget and much more quality content is sacrilegious.

people don't know bro. Strike back is the best action series ever. My best season is season 5 when they battled Kamali. People saying it's imaginary is a joke. Every season, someone very important dies and you wish to throw away your phone. I wish I could get another series like that. Unlike 24, strike back is about a team who live to die for each other

Finally finished Full Metal Alchemists Brotherhood. I love the seriers and ebding was pretty satisfying. All the important plot threads were wrapped up nicely. I wpuld like to know more about Shing. The truth turned out to be an interesting character.

With all the cancellation going on, I felt like some people missed the most crushing cancellation of all: The Expanse.

Gutted. Hopefully, Netflix or Amazon pick it up. The best sci-fi show since Battlestar Galactica.

Edit: Oops! Apparently, Netflix isn't interested. People involved in the production of The Expanse have said Netflix already passed on picking up the show. Our best hope now to save the show is for the fans to lobby Amazon. So, if you have twitter, please tweet #savetheexpanse to @PrimeVideo.

2nd Edit: Fresh news! Kinda Bittersweet. After further digging, I discovered that SyFy didn't actually cancel it. The show is wholly owned, financed and produced by Alcon. SyFy has all this while been purchasing the distribution right for it. All SyFy did was to decide to not purchase the distribution right for the 4th season. The bad news is without SyFy or a replacement, the show can't reach the consumers thus can't continue, so it's the same as a cancellation. The good news is it does make it pretty easy to pick up.
