At least the bolded is true....unlike the rest of your post!!

I'm sure you got the gist to understand the truth. So jumping around like a John Rambo or James Bond in a film is not the same thing as being the real James Bond in real life.

I know some units exist in your country that can do that but I also know not too many countries have units that can do that. And 35,000 feet depends on many factors.

About the 10,000 feet it was done in bad weather not meaning they don't do HAHO/HALO but you see that day we weren't invading Gabon and I was specific about where it happened.
So what's rare about it?

To my knowledge only 2(possibly 3) countries in Sub-Sahara have HAHO/HALO capability and Nigeria is not one of them....unless you can prove Nigeria those in deed have a HAHO/HALO capable unit.

The truth in your reality is actually no more than a fairy-tale in real life

Again when you start winning come back and talk to me. Right now you are acting movies so you see where the fairy-tale story lies.

You know what I am talking about. I am talking about Military and not Paramilitary.

What a reply...

Terribly sry.

I'm a busy man making quick intermittent replies at the moment. Within the military' special forces units the Tavor is widely used. It is also used by other security agencies like the DSS. It has a high rate of fire of about a thousand rounds per min...most specifics are public knowledge you can google it up.

I have waited a long time for this
our SBS has Air troops (all qualified HALO/HAHO ) & for future arguments, they also have some qualified in submarine operations.

My credibility is on the line for this post

Any proof? maybe a pic of a HAHO/HALO jump? a citation will also suffice.

As i said before to MY knowledge only Nambia and SA have HAHO/HALO capability in SSA

Except you want recorded conversations.

Bro,why is it that all Nigerian Special Forces I have both met and seen use the same types of rifle, the Tavor?

It is accurate, has good testimony of ruggedness (home and abroad), it's compact etc.
Anyway, our SSS first used it after some training in Israel, then NN SBS followed suit and since then we haven't looked back.
Personally I like that service wide SOF/Elite units are standardizing their need for 5.56 rifles. We don't want 8 different kinds now do we?

NNSBS regime involves months of training for SEAL capability qualification which includes HAHO/HALO. That's the much I can say.

It does exist in Nigeria. It is rare.

Coming from the guy that types stories (never backed up with facts or pictorial evidence ) on his blog day in day out!, I have proof NNSBS personnel underwent advanced airborne courses in Pakistan, although I don’t know if it was HAHO/HALO but why would they be sent out of Nigeria to qualify for wings they already have?

odunayaw is right on this one.

I would have advised you to take whatever you read from blogs with a pinch of salt.. But I believe every "adult" should already know that.

Yes, you are correct
Not just Navy, a particular army unit as well, conducted jointly with the Pakistani SSG. Sadly there are no pictures of it publicly available. I have it on good account from a friend.

No actually it’s simple logic, something you can’t seem to grasp. NNSBS already qualify for static line jumps and and free fall jumps out of NAF C130s, why would they then be sent to Pakistan to receive the same training again?

Try this thing called thinking before you reply me this time around.

Some sources say there are around 8 Gripen pilots on base at any given day, with 2 Gripens apparently on 24 hour standby. But number of trained Gripen pilots is more than double that, as some pilots perform other duties at other bases, on different aircraft, then rotated back to 2 Squadron.

So your question can't really have a direct answer. What is "actively" flying? Pilots and airframes rotate.

Not all high altitude jumps require oxygen. If the jumper is jumping from 18,000 feet, Oxygen is not required.

The jump Covert1 was referring to was from 12,000 feet in bad weather.

I agree, but within the bracket of HA nonetheless.

Carrying Oxygen in a small bottle with a breathing mask is no big deal. Don't know what the fuss is all about.

It's a big deal for HAHO. Some pilots have passed out from lack of oxygen in the safety of their cockpit. So they definitely won't engineer a system for a jumper just "with a small bottle and breathing mask". He'll be brain dead by the time he reaches the ground if something goes wrong.

Anyways...

Jumps have to be done yearly to stay qualified even 4 Medical battalion does at the very least 1 HAHO/HALO jump a year.......however limited jumps are mitigated by our Jump simulators which we received a few years ago.
