Pls people in d house is it possible to pay tuition fee of around 8k$ ,one paid 500$ and wen he gets there he pay the remaining fees

Sure and ask if your school have such payment plans

Be aware that doing this method does not guarantee visa until you do the visa interview and prove that you are eligible and not only qualify.

Good day fellows. Please, i have two VERY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AND I WILL NEED YOUR HELP ASAP.

(1) I got a full phd funding and i planned going with my wife, but was told to provide prove for her funding. In the initial stage, i got the support from a relative which i sent to the school in order to have her i20 prepared. Therefore, the source of her funding on the i20 is my relative (but the person's name did not appear). However, i now have enough cash in my account to sponsor her. When asked at the VISA interview about her sponsorship, is it advisable i make use of my own account statement or i stick to that of my relative?

(2) Is it possible to use a fixed deposit account (fixed for 3 months and will mature before the start of my programme) as a prove of financial sponsorship?

I will be glad to get responses to this questions ASAP.

Thank you.

You can use both: your relative and your personal savings. Meanwhile she will also be interviewed separately.

2. Yes, with documented evidence and convincing explanations.

Let me seperate this into two

If the course you applied to is an online program ....then no , F1 or J1 visa – Per U.S. immigration regulations, you cannot pursue a full online degree program. However, if you're enrolled in a full-time on-campus degree program, you can count one distance learning or online class (three credits) toward your minimum number of credits each semester.

If the program you applied to is a full time on campus but similar degree / course occurs in other school as an online program. Then that still fine as long as the program you applied for is a full time on campus

Side note** . I recall a transcript where the VO denied the person that the MSC in nutrition can be done online instead of as a full on campus. Maybe if the person had quickly explain the benefit of oncampus versus online that might have helped . So prepare for that question incase it is asked
thanks alot..the thing is am expecting my i-20 this week, but now found out that the course (strategic human resource) is online and evening class or both,..pls what is your take on this?

How will He explain that his relative is ready to foot the bill for his wife to eat and sleep in the United States.Remember the wife is not allowed to work to repay the money. This is not an investment in the students future. It is better he sticks to his personal fund else he will have a hard time convincing the VO. My two cents.

You can't pay the SEVIS fee in Naira. It depends on the rate the person helping you to pay uses, or the rate you meet at Seme in Benin Republic. Abokifx says it is 360 Naira to a Dollar. Don't forget to add western union fee of $10.

I don't have idea of the problem but maybe your application is still under processing or you contact the international admission of the school and find out yourself

USA has >5,200 higher institutions. Every year only about 200 make it to top 1000 THE or QS ranking which is less than 5% of the total number. Therefore any Nigerian university who makes it to top 1000 is actually ranked higher than 95% of American universities.
