But how old are you self? you talk like you are the only one that did boarding school. I also attended boarding school and learnt most of my culinary skills there, the rest I learnt from my mom. when I'm at home and mom is cooking I will always be present to to see how she cooks her delicious foods. until I mastered it, even as a kid then I was eager to learn how to cook. now I can cook my own foods even without my girlfriend help, so this isn't an excuse.

You will learn. Not difficult, cooking is like an art, just enjoy it and dont see it as a burden. You can enrol in a school but then love to cook first.

This is serious o. you should google videos on how to cook, they are all over YouTube, or get a book on how to cook. besides you are still young, you can still learn how to cook before you marry. because I don't think any man will tolerate a lady who can't cook, ask Davido why he's dying for chioma, it's definitely her foods that's driving him nuts, you know the saying "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach".

No one is making u to feel bad, just that the truth is always bitter to swallow. No man wants to marry a woman that doesn't know how to cook. even if u have a maid, u can't expect him/her to be cooking for ur husband always. By the way, how will u teach ur children how to cook.

True, u have come to seek for knowledge here and people are ready to assist you. But those your 2 responses spoilt the whole thing and shows that you are not really ready.

Just erase that thought from your mind and you are good to go. To learn how to cook, u must enter kitchen and lit fire, wash used plate and clean ur kitchen. Whenever u see cooking as a hobby and not a strenuous work, then you are ready to learn.

make an attempt by staying close to the kitchen. do this twice or three times and you would see visible changes. Asides that, if you want to go to a culinary school, you would be required to do practicals as to what you have learnt theoretically. this also involves getting close to fire.

I'm not in lagos, but I believe they will have cooking classes in lagos. Meanwhile, u have many options even if you don't attend classes.

My dear, there is nothing bad in going to boarding school. Also, its a thing of the past. This is for you " The beauty of life is to move on, it will always end in praise". And don't forget to come back and testify by the time you become a great cook and even contesting for " knorr cooking contest".

I understand and feel you from one angle. I went to boarding house too. Anytime i went home for holidays, things were done around the House for me as we had three maids.

Then I met a man. He came to our house to ask for my hand. I was just 21! I could not even boil water talk more of making pap. I did not even know how the cooker in our house works. All I could operate was the microwave. Warm my freezer food and eat. What is washing dishes? I hated the kitchen! It was so bad.

I told uncle husband that I cannot marry o. I cannot cook tea. The man was adamant. Married me like that. First 3 months he was cooking and washing dishes. Till one day he fell ill. Okay!
I saw him make Eba and okro few times. He was starving around 10pm. I made garri and water with okro and water. As in, u could count the okro in the water and the Eba was like over soaked garri.
After he got well, we would stay in the kitchen together. When he's putting salt, I'll add maggi. Thats how he taught me how to cook. Now who born him near my kitchen? I'm now his master. There's nothing I can't cook, I bake too. My okro soup beat his own 25times over. I'm bad like that.
So you will get over it with time. I believe so. If I can cook, me?! Then u can.
