Well, it's a scam, drivers don't fall for it. If that Oga is for real he should reveal his office, identity, showroom, partners, uber drivers or bank that he is working with nobody on this thread is anonymous only then can we gladly get to know him and appreciate his kind gesture and certify his philanthropic moves as credible.

We all know one person or the other on this thread. Who or which reliable fellow on this thread can speak for him not a new moniker, and why will a total stranger want to help a driver from slaving, what happened to his family and friends, drivers don't forget the popular saying "who you epp" nobody will give you nothing you don't deserve "work for".

Drivers don't be penny wise pound foolish, don't fall for this Uber ponzi that is about to blow fowl (Driver) yansh. Better stick to your partners, fleet managers, or better still as Oga dru always say get a bank loan, than lose the little you have saved because you are running from assurance. Drivers you know what they say about a bird in hand.?

If the Oga dey vex make e come beat me I dey my house.

Just make sure you collect half of the weekly "assurance". Simple as that. It will save you stress on the long run.. The show me small that's why am doing assurance.. Sometimes we make things harder on ourselves that don't need to be

Drivers be careful how u treat ur partner as the saying goes u don't know where u will meet again and will need his or her approval . Today, my biz associate who has 6cars on uber and a sienna happens to meet a driver whom he wants to give hire purchase to run Lagos -ghana route .He has told me about the driver off courses he happens to be my first driver on uber, he has told me earlier of his intention to get a sienna for Ghana route of which I felt I'm not ready for such so we had to stop working together early this year. Now , I went to my friends place to check out the new driver ,make my observation and give him approval. He was shocked and surprise to see me as they hv been waiting for my arrival .I told my associate to release the car to him as he was good to me as he never failed on his weekly rental .Now the guy without further enquiry gave him the sieena with no document signed for now and he drove home rejoicing .
Lesson : this world is small ,be nice cos u don't know who you will meet while moving in the success lather.

Another vehicle going up...

2007 Kia Rio 1.6L

Security deposit 20k

Weekly rent 35k

Verifiable guarantor who can assure u

****Phone number of previous partners (Max 2)****

Copy of utility bill

Let discussions start

Another driver matched but this time with a twist...

We secured a driver who claims he is ready to work(been out of a car less than 1year), claims he had a steady payment of weekly rental to previous partner, he has a verifiable guarantor BUT no security deposit.

Fleet management involves planning, scheduling and hiring, so we had to build a twist to hiring this driver-partner

1. We put a call to his last partner - Driver was

2. We had his guarantor secure him by signing an extended guarantor agreement

We about to roll.... Let's see what the morning brings

word of advise, don't do peugeot. Don't ask why I will not answer.

Why cause a Furore and run off without settling it.what i know is this Peugeots are very electronically sensitive cars especially 406 models n above so you cannot just go meet any mechanic otherwise OYO is your case so some novice driver who knows nothing about cars is equally also a danger. But an experienced and attentive driver with the right mechanic will do just fine but for a newbie just go toyota or hyundai and have peace of mind.i have struggled with my Peugeot but i love the car its a delight to drive, super steady on top speed and my riders are almost always wowed...infact for me i always catch a thrill when i am watching policemen confused as to whether to stop me or not as am approaching( my car is perceived to be used mostly by military folks) you cannot vandalize the car/ brainbox...Oyo is also your case without the car key...so like most other cars it has its pros and cons but not just any driver should use it...

Always make sure you have a steady network, bad network affect trip fare, always make sure you’re using the right phone.
I use WiFi, every stop I do observe the WiFi making sure there’s service were I am, till I arrive at my destination.
Try this and you won’t ve this issues again.

U said it all, I have been using Peugeot 307 for 2 years now no issues. I always ensure that I use only a good Peugeot Mechanic and Rewire. Never called "oga i fit do am" to fix my car. It's strong, reliable and very good. If am to buy another car, I will still go for a Peugeot.

I see your point bro. But many have been scam on this forum before.. If you are going to help people, you need to be more transparent now .. And nobody does anything free in these world .. And there is saying that goes if it is too good to be true, it is probably too good to be true.. Let the man open and give more information and explain himself better.. Since he wants to help people and he is getting nothing out of it.. When I was advertising my engine oil to sale.. I explain why they use it and even went way and be on to take pictures to show people that the oil is from Yankee... we need transparency my brother.. Nigerians are scared of Nigerians o. Talking about poor then I am the wrong guy, about low esteem that should be you cause you are here mastubating over something that is not proven and assuming it to be fact/true when in reality it could be totally misleading or false only poor, low self esteem, self servicing and overly ambitious peeps do this, lazy brats do too.

I said nothing wrong, I simply insist that if he is for real he should prove it on here by providing a physical address, verifiable identity or refer us to someone on this thread, every person on here that does biz here have their address/ contact on here and are know by many, gazzuzz, carshopper, Dru23, taxiappguy, habrewilliam, heck even romeo and his former boss, and here you are telling me why you have remained poor from inception, Emotionally unstable prick.

Do you know how hard drivers work to earn their cash only to loose it because of heresay, hype men like you that make fraud appear legit, only for drivers to fall to a cheap scam, I could be wrong but i still maintain that it's left to that fellow to prove us all wrong and if you know the fellow and can speak or stand for him please do, instead of ranting like a sisi that lost her sanitary pad. Abi you are thesame folk that dropped the format? Better prove it genuineness.

Sorry for yourself.

There is one issue affecting drivers but nobody have talked about it.

Why is it that most partners find it hard to remit excess of Uber payment. That is... Drivers' card trip of previous week is more than the rental.

I noticed most partners find it difficult to transfer the remaining balance to their driver.

I think that's Greed na

If all things been equal and you not owning the partner a kobo ..you need to look for new reputable partner or fleet coy.. Bad partner or bad fleet coy needs to be put on blast.. We can't be collecting assurance deposit from drivers. And partners or fleet coy will not be behaving themselves...
