I have B.sc in Mechanical Engineering (OAU ile Ife) and MBA (Unilag), work as an engineer for 5yrs now. please I need advice on if MBA is accepted and also which of my degrees should I evaluate with WES. Patiently waiting for your response and advice.

Ehen, my engineering bro/sis, evaluate both please. If you intend to practice in Canada, I reckon you would need to have both qualifications assessed, with engineering being a regulated profession over there. But if it's just for the purpose of getting yourself to Canada, by all means, evaluate just your MBA (I presume it will be easier to get transcripts and verification done at Unilag faster than at OAU) and work on getting the BSc assessed some time later if you wish.

Ordered GMCS notes - 4 May 2018
ADR (New Passport bio page requested, cos mine expires in July 2018) - 11 May 2018
Had to get a new passport submitted scanned biopage - 15 May 2018

I haven't received any response since Tuesday, also i did not receive any confirmation of receipt when i sent my passport bio page.
Please for anyone that has sent ADR via email, did you receive confirmation? I am so confused and anxious, my application is 6 months already, I am still awaiting the GMCS notes i ordered.

Please house, what do you advice?

I might be wrong, but I believe ADR for Passport Bio Page requires you to upload via a placeholder in your CIC account. In any case, check through the email you got for specific instruction on where to upload it.

Hello house, this regulated profession of a thing ehn... what is the fate of a BSc + ICAN ACA holder going to Canada to work? Is it that one cannot work as an accountant until you complete CPA/CGA exams or what? Kindly shed more light biko

As a concerned fellow, i have searched every couse related to IT that could be evaluated as diploma but got nothing, atleast i tried to confirm MCSE,MCSD etc

Now an IT specialist trying to write ACCA

If I am using her maiden name, should I attach marriage certificate to it.

Use the name on her Passport. Whatever the case, you have to attached marriage certificate to proof that you both are legally married.

Not true. You can definitely work with your ICAN or ACCA.

The diploma is evaluated to two year diploma by WES

The name on her international passport is my name, while the certificate has her maiden name.

In the WES, site there is no column for her new name.

A profile has already been created with her name's as it is on her certificate.

ACCA here and there. Its getting tiring please people should endeavour to read back

If you are considering BCS Certificate in IT, Please note that Examinations are held twice per year in March / April and September.

BCS Professional Graduate Diploma in IT

The pass mark is 40% for each paper.

Actually I should have mentioned the BCS option since .

I guess I just wanted to be double sure. So If you are not feeling ACCA, BCS is another great option

I believe if you already have a degree in information technology, you can get exemption for some modules.

Yeah, but without a background in IT to give relevant exemptions, then one has to start from the Certificate in IT option. What equivalency would that have?

There are no specific entrance requirements for the Certificate in IT, however it is strongly recommended that all candidates register with an approved centre. Studying with an approved centre will deliver significant benefits. Do you know any approved centers in Nigeria? For those that are interested. I did some of my certification programmes with PECB, I'm currently with CompTIA so I am not familiar with BCS.

Had same experience when i did my WES last year. I got my ECA in the verge of applying for my transcript. Could differ from schools sha.

Pls i have an unusual situation at hand. While awaiting my transcript to be ready at my school. I decided to first send wes copies of my certificate by hello fax pending when my transcript is ready. This is what my wes status read.

Evaluation in Progress. Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time.

I am surprise to see such because I am yet to send my transcript to them. Now they saying am not expected to do anything, without any date of completing the evaluation. Also since then am yet to get an up date from them. Pls if anyone has similar or useful information, I will be glad to hear.
