Most times, Jena look at what u studied in your undergraduate and what u are advancing to study in your masters. They give more priority to same subjects . for example, BSc Biochemistry and MSc. Biochemistry. Got admitted 1week after my document was sent to admission committee. Although I applied for two Masters in same Jena. Uptil date I am yet to hear from the other department of Microbiology.
Xadi04:

Thanks, yeah Jena is my second. They received my document on 22nd of May

Where can I get to certify my documents in Lagos apart from the German consulate? The lady refused to certify my transcripts claiming its a student copy that it would be better if my school send transcripts directly to the schools in Germany which will cost me alot since they are more than a school that I am applying to. So does anyone know where I can have my documents certified in Lagos(Ikeja preferably or Ikosi CMD area?

Secondly, How can I get a new WAEC certificate from Waec, the one I have is a photocopy, I could not find the original copy and the lady refused to certify it.

Awaiting your responses.

Go to Ikeja High court, just after the Ikeja bridge, it's a very popular place. There are several hustlers outside of the court that will do it for you at a reasonable price. I did mine there.

I don't think this is the case. the Biochemistry program is non restricted, so the admission is on a rolling basis, and any qualified candidate would be admitted. For other courses, that are restricted, they would wait for the deadline to pass, then rank applicants based on CGPA and other factors they choose to consider. Then the decision is made based on that.

Please stop patronizing hustlers and tauts, try to meet with the registrar, the official price is #10 naira per page. Why risk working with tauts. This is why some German schools now insists on German embassy certification because most Nigeria documents can not be verified if they write back to the institutions that certified it. FAU is strict on certification at embassy with few other schools

Do you live in Lagos?

They are not touts! They're normal people, hustling to feed themselves. They merely serve as middle man between you and the registrar or whatever the officer is called.

And the office that certified those documents can be easily contacted, because they're real legal office.

Good luck trying to access the registrar office yourself o, most especially in Lagos. You will spend the entire day on hold.

What is your GP on German scale? And what is special about your application.. I mean like publication or award?

Also, is your BSc degree from a foreign university or Nigeria? If Nigeria, which school?

Which language requirement did you use? If IELTS or TOEFL, I believe that played a role in you getting admission so fast. Though I used IELTS, I have friends who applied for the same course with the same discipline and are yet to be admitted even one has a better B. Tech Result than mine and is yet to.

Ask him which English proficiency he used. IELTS or TOEFL or English proficiency letter.

Another fast way to certification of document is to meet notary public lawyers in their offices across states.
Though they charge higher than the courts, N500 per document but it is recognised by many international body or certify at the ministry of education if it is only academic certificates.
Embassy certification is preferred above all but too hard for people living outside Lagos and Abuja

you dont certify documents for interview......
Go to the embassy's site and get the checklist for student visa so u will know the documents u are to go with..... Its usually the original plus two photocopies each apart from your application form and the decleration according to section 54 blah blah..... (for which u submit 2 original copies each)

Faith restored in NIPOST! Got Jena confirmation this morning.

Strange as I was expecting Uniassit to get the mail before Jena.

@dailydollar was right with the date calculation.
