Good morning everyone. Please I am still waiting for a reply. Please help.

I wanted to respond to this on the day you posted your question but i got carried away. In my case, I had 2 important documents done in black and white. One of them stressed the living day light out of me with countless back and forth emails and endless calls. By the time I got it, I was too grateful to even argue that I would have preferred it in coloured. I just collected it with thanksgiving in my heart.

Unless someone decides to print in coloured for you, there is not much you can do. You cannot do much about someone not having an official email or website for their business neither can you do much about someone who doesn't have a business card. Unless you want to print out business cards for him or open website for him. cheesy

The key here is to present a convincing case. How do you convince someone you worked in a hospital which was located in a village? Please look at the links below for more ideas on how to present an iron clad case where an employment reference letter is not as CIC has specified. Tie it all up with an LOE and i'm sure you'll be fine.

Hello Fam!

Good day my people! I'm here to share a useful experience and at the same time ask for opinions on the best way to tackle the issues. I hope we can all learn from it as we submit our applications.

It's about a friend of mine that submitted his application in January and his status has remained in IP1 since February. We decided to order for his GCMS file less than 3 weeks ago and it came yesterday.

So the VO had recommended a further review of his application since February 27. He explained that "the applicant claimed 3+ years of foreign work experience to gain ITA whereas documents from employer had shown just 2years 10 months of experience and going by that, his CRS score will be below the minimum score required for the draw as at that time".

After discussing this with him, I realized he goofed while entering into the pool by choosing 3+ years to arrive at his CRS score of 469 and didn't notice this while he was submitting his documents post ITA.

The 2nd issue raised was that Vo alleged "the applicant work experience was split up into 2 separate work experiences and work duration dates ADJUSTED to match LOE.

But actually, what happened here is that the applicant is a Dentist. He claimed Houseman ship experience betw Nov 2014 to Nov 2015. Then NYSC experience (in the same hospital) between MAY 2016 to APRIL 2017. The last experience he claimed is his current job(different hospital) which started from May 2017 till Jan 2018 (when he submitted)

Now if you notice in the first employer, there is a 5 MONTHS gap in between NOV 2014 to APRIL 2017. While filling the work history form, he realize the form would not allow any gap in between, so he filled the gap with an internship he never intended to claim point for so the form could allow him proceed. So I then realized this was what the VO probably described as WORK EXPERIENCE & DURATION DATES ADJUSTMENT.

Having said all these, I call on every elders on this forum to suggest to us the best way to go about this. Should he wait and allow the VO reject the application coz going by 2 years 10 months experiences he provided references for, his CRS will fall from 469 to 444 whereas the minimum score for his draw was 446.

OR can a raising a Specific Case Inquiry help him to avoid rejection of his application?

And hope he does not stand any chance of getting banned for misrepresentation?

The thing is what do you can you have to show raising a CSE? He should have waited to claim the exact 3 yrs.. They check all these! Anyway, the worst will be reapplying.

He claimed 3 years working experience when he has 2years and 10months working experience. That is a misrepresentation. Is is serious enough to get him banned? Most likely not, but it is a misrepresentation all the same.

So what should he have claimed since he’s over 2 years ? This is a grey area Canada must clear

Meanwhile for me I claimed over 3 years o
My 1 year nysc experience & 2+ years of current work but there’s a one year gap between them

This morning it was that single people are not getting PPR. As that matter no burst, you want to start with work experience.
Relax your PPR is almost here.

Don't use your own situation to cover his. His total years of work experience is 2 years 10 months which is not up to 3 years, talk more of claiming 3+ years.

Your total years of work experience is more than 3years. Having 1 year gap in between is a different matter.

Do you know how many people have not entered the pool because they are waiting to hit that 3 yr mark? Some people have 2 years 11months and 15 days work experience and they still haven't joined the pool because they realize that Canada does not approximate to the nearest whole figure.

Chai. The guy no tidy himself well. He really could have waited 2 or 3 more months to complete his 3 year work experience or tidy up his act wella. This one weak me abeg. I don't even know whether raising a CSE will preempt a rejection/ban or not. E weak me abeg. Make others chook mouth.

I don't think that's actually a misrepresentation given that he didnt even attempt to claim it based on the documents submitted. That was just an oversight because the VO won't have even know anything if he had attempted to claim 3+ years, all he would have done is to combine the two reference letters as one and make it between 2014 -2017 at a go without that gap which he clearly didnt.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by Aig842: 12:04pm On May 30, 2018
Hello Osaze, it's no grey area, one doesn't have three years work experience unless it's 12 months after the 2nd year, nothing like 2years plus. This option is only when it's over 3years hence the "3 years or more" option.

Exactly also why did the VO not ask for clarification why wait for 5 months + before responding

When filling his pre-ita form didn't he claim 3 years work experience (which boosted his score?). He didn't pay sufficient attention to his documents if not he could have done as you said.

Now it appears as if he claimed what he doesn't have / didn't prove.

The way I see it , he has 3 choices: raise a CSE , withdraw his application, wait and pray it gets approved

Lol funny guy. Firstly I don't know if its compulsory for the VO to ask for clarification. I have seen cases where the application is refused without any warning.

Secondly his application hasn't reached 6 months, so technically it is still within the timeframe for processing.

Have you order GCMS note and observed the part that says no changes from application to e-APR. That shows they really look into these details that you are giving less attention to
