I don't think you can make this conclusions without considering the fact that the condition of the fall on the above mentioned devices might actually be different.

My max 2 has fallen down on the tiles from my bed severally. On one night, it fell 3 times, one of them it fell flat, face down. You also need to consider the fact that screen protector that doesn't fit might be a contributing factor to the breakage...

Just try to fix your screen and get a fitting screen protector and pouch..

Further to above, I doubt if its a gorrila glass3 on the phone. My note 2, z10, note 5 and hot5 pro dropped so many times without breaking.Was going to root for Xiaomi but they broke my heart. What should one expect from top specs affordable phone? Compromise in other areas abi

True, am now very conscious when am walking on tiled or tarred surfaces, falls are not predictable, and glass is brittle and poorly resists shock.

Go for the latest devices. Redmi 5 would suit your budget.
