We as muslims are very much encouraged to eat your meat and food except that which is inherently forbiddden to us.
As for the love part,if you mean accepting Jesus as our Lord and pesonal saviour then we don't accept that as part of our faith.
If we hated you(christians) then there would be no need for the Qur'aan to enjoin us to eat your food.
Tolerance demands that you accept my way of life as far as it is not affecting you.
bro don't mind him. A lot of Christians are only Christians in name and not in character. I am a Christian and I can boldly tell you that person you quoted in very wrong.

It is very wrong, because Moslem worship God through Mohammed which was a human being who dies some years ago and never resurrect. While Christian worship God through Jesus Christ Who came down from heaven to save mankind. He died and resurrected and he is alive.

Biblically, the Christian view is that it doesn't really matter as there is no longer any distinction between clean and unclean foods anymore, but then as Nigerians have the innate tendency to take religion to the extreme, accepting Ramadan food in some churches is seen as idol worship.

As for me though, food can't waste. That is the greatest sin grin

It is not even as if the food is sacrificed to idols. Allah is the Arabic word for God and I know the Muslims worship only one God. They don't worship any other god except Allah.

Another igrnorant post.
Worship of one god is called monotheism, but that does not equate two different deities.
Now lets move further.

If Allah equates to Jehova or Chineke or Eledumare or Yahweh, can you share where a moozlim calls or prays via those other names for God?
Lets stop all this equating of one god to another, for what purpose if I may ask.
Allah is Allah, Jehovah/Yahweh is Jehova, Sango is Sango, Obatala is Obatala.

This is not Algebra, A = C, and B = C therefore A = C. No religion does not meet reason or logic in that sense. All man to his lane.

its a simple question with simple answer. You know the exact truth. Which bible reference have you practically lived up to? Which? My answer is straight foward and obvious needing no back up!

Then I tell you you're wrong and it needs no back up.

The highlighted does not apply here. Wat the highlighted refers to is eating meat sacrificed to idols as contained in 1 Corinthians 8:4-12. However, wat is in issue is not wat u addressed. Revelations 18:4 says "....get out of her, my people, if u do not want to share with her in her sins, if u don't want to receive her plagues". This scripture talks about false worship or false religion in general. Based on this scripture, u do not accept such food.
The bible contains certain principles that are not as black and white as oda scriptures which clearly spell out certain do's and don't's. Therefore principles are the basis for addressing oda situations dat appear not so clear. Proverbs 28:5 says "........those who seek God can understand everything".

Please allow me point this to you:

There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many Lords. But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.
1 Corinthians 8:5‭-‬6 NLT

How was ur day
That's not true. Muslims will accept any food from Christians as long as it doesn't contain pork meat.

Read 1 Corinthians 10: 20-23. Know ye not the things the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to the devil....

Muslims worship the god of sun and not the Almighty God Christians worship that is why they face East when praying. Don't forget that the Trinity Christians worship is omnipresent and is everywhere not residing only in East or Mecca. Eating their breakfast is tantamount to eating food from God's of iron, fire or masquerade so be warned.
the food they eat is not sacrificed. Ah.... Stop displaying your vast knowledge of ignorance. It is just food that the have prepared to eat when their fast is over. As a Christian, when you are done fasting, is the food you use to break your fast a sacrifice to God?

It is not that which goes into the body that defiles the body but that which comes from it. If it's reasonable, nutritious, not poisonous and given to you out of friendship, if you like the food I see no reason to refuse. Certain no Christian religious reason. Otherwise it is just extreme interpretation that Christians were not taught by Jesus or early leaders like Peter, John, Matthew, Paul and others.

Upon Jesus' death & resurrection, Christians were liberated from the Jewish/Mosaic dietary requirements. That is why pork and many others are no more taboos like the Jews still practice today.

That's muslims for you.

They persuade you to eat/drink from them but they will never eat or drink from you, especially if it's the food meant to be used in breaking fast by Christians.

Muslims by default are supposed to discriminate and hate non Muslim (Christians).

As for me oooo, I won't eat the food. Not because am a religious person, but because that's exactly what they'll do if you turn the tables.

Hey, am talking about real and practising muslims, not those who in one way or the other have some western influence in the lives.

Hausa people call them infidels

Then my guess is you are not a true Christian lolz (No offence) because Jesus said not to pay evil with evil.

you wil finally agree when you return from church

Everything is a matter of intent.

You celebrate Christmas even though they tell you it's a Pagan celebration because of that's not what you have in mind. To you it's the birth of Christ.

Food is food as a matter of fact.

What matters is how you see it.

Keep collecting food from every Mohammed, Abubakar and Ismail you know. Whatever results from it is strictly your problem. We won't bear it together

So you would reject food from a person of another religion for what reason exactly?

1 Corinthians 10:27 would open your small mind.

Your post is the ignorant one here and very silly sort of.

So, it is now by the name you call your God? What other name does an English Christian call/pray through?

The present generation are in TROUBLE,gone are those days when Christians celebrates Salah with Muslim and Muslims celebrates Easther with Christian, our own traditional believers all celebrates festival together without having suspecting one another
Most of this generation don't read or even understand the Holly book rather, the man of God in the church or Musque are not telling members what the Holly book says about your neighbour.
Before religion was imported to this country we live in harmony and peace .We see our self as out-group and in-group I mean we are ethnocentric
it good to be continuous of what you eat but don't let us Drage religion into it.

Honestly, it has even gone beyond all these. All thanks to our religious leaders, the way and manner we take these imported religious serious while condemning ours is something else.

You haven't made any valid point, this is simply false accusations because you can't back up your claims.

I can as well twist your words and say

You know what am saying that Christians are violent and you should practice the peace you claim you are preaching.

We started this discourse less than an hour ago, how come you just realised it's Sunday?
