It's clear that the huge fall in todays index is ccasioned by a sharp drop in the price of DANGOTE CEMENT.
But just study the trend and u'll have an idea of what is currently playing out.
When the small caps were falling (driven mainly by the financial services sector), volumes were basically scanty while the big caps were relatively stable.
Now the small caps are rising (again mainly financial services), volumes have picked up a lot of momentum, while the big caps are now falling.
Well, I only have one interpretation to this scenario. ...and that is; We are indeed closer than ever to a trend reversal in the positive direction. ...the BULL is nearer than ever !!

...just my 2 cent.
