Lolz I used to patronize d place wella during my job hunting period. But now am far. To go there ND come back will take me 30dirham to ND fro. There food make sense. There are 3 different place d sale it there but don't know how to describe it cos hv been to those ones just once but this is d one I frequent.

I will never advice any job hunter to live in deira, the environment & the kind of people you will be associating with will demoralize you, though bedspace is very cheap there but no motivations comes from deira, all they will keep telling you is this agent that agent, even your passport is at risk if you’re not careful , the only good thing about deira is the naija food, good barbers, sending money/goods to 9ja, and also for those wey wan go cure konji meanwhile AIDS is real

No actually I never chop am. To be sincere Indian and Arab food don't do it for me at all. I usually cook at home but I miss all dem Egusi, Ogbono, Efo riro etc.I hope to find them there

There's an African shop in Deira... Na there I dey buy our 9ja egusi and ogbono when the urge for home food don too much after I've run outta supplies.... It's kinda pricey though...

Is there a thread only for Oatar and UAE "TOURIST" visa cos it seems most people here are for work visa and those going to hustle. Am reading about biometrics and booking appointment, I hope this does not apply to tourist visa? Can't I just do it myself? Like from start to finish. Must I use a third party? I think with the UPDATE WORK PERMIT INFORMATION the PRO sent to you, u need to take it to UAE Embassy to Abuja, make payment of N30,000 for biometeric; after which u'll be issued a residence visa (in your int'l passport) from the embassy.

Am sorry bros but nobody is going to call you back, if you have been their you will understand that those guys barely ave time for lunch talk more of time to call,if they have given you any date that will not affect your visa you go on that date for your biometric, if your visa will expire before that date you go there and complain.

The fair woman at that counter use to call people on phone but not anymore unless your case is a desperate one and heaven decided to get involved
