Come to SS, Benin, Warri and PH and see SARS in action. U'll know that SW is child's play

I have come to realize over the years that the SARS wing of NPF has so belittled the Yoruba race thereby acting as they like in South West Nigeria especially Lagos.

As a concerned citizen that I am, I noticed the Police excesses only happen in the South and not Northern part of Nigeria.

In Abuja for example, you hardly see police except the ones controlling traffic and the "Anti- car theft" checking vehicles.

I am using this medium to call on the Governor of Lagos State, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Buhari who I happen to be a big fan of to look into the excesses of SARS and Nigerian Police in South West Nigeria.

The gentility of the tiger must never be taken for cowardice.
This is a wake up call to everyone before the people decide to fight back. leading to a complete breakdown of law and order.

GOD BLESS ThE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.
crime rate in the south is much worse..
when a criminal kills in the north he runs to Lagos, when cars are stolen in Abuja they are being sold in Lagos.
where there's more crime security agencies tend to be more versatile and sometimes attack the innocent, but chill if your innocent they would surely free you..
take north for example.
in north east if you dress in kaftan with full beards you'll surely be interrogated by soldiers, sometimes beaten in maiduguri if your unlucky you'll be shot instantly sef..
if this sars officials play calm I swear na innocent people go suffer..

Anddd that's the end of your agitation...because nothing's going to be done about it. All talk, no actions.
I mean state police would have been really great with a federal police department like the FBI.
Why? Because if your brother is the police guy, he"s gonna treat you with a little respect as compared to an alien who won't care to shoot and harass you at the slightest provocation.
This is NIgeria anyway, nothing fvcking works.

Great observation but you are calling on the wrong person (Ambode) for redress. The president should be the proper person

SARS must continue o....wait a minute, how did you guys forgot so easily that "a man that fetched firewood that is invested with ants, only sent an invite to lizards?" .
until your youths abandon illegal means of making money (especially internet scam) and corner cutting, SARS will keep whipping your dead asses.

Meanwhile, Boohary is going back to Daura next year....that's the only goodness i have for you.

Actually, I feel Yoruba elites are the problem.

With all the book we claim to read, the Yoruba leaders care less of the youths and their welfare.

My time in the North has opened my eyes to so many flaws in the Yoruba community.

The Police in the North don't have the liver to harass a Northern youth speaking fluent Hausa like they do to Yorubas.

Seriously, this bullshit has to stop and the time to stop it is now.
Bros, it's very simple. Yahoo boyz no dey north

I'm starting to even feel most of the recent SARS harassment are done by impersonators. Because, with the way they have been exposed physically and on social media with lots of campaigns against them, you would expect that it should have reduced.

So I wonder what gives them the nerve to continue with this nonsense, except some of these guys are not really SARS but impersonators who have found that it is another way to make money.

It is not because we northerners know our rights, it is just because northern Nigeria is not prone to crime and illegal hustles. That's not to say crime doesn't take place here, but not like southern Nigeria

The Yahoo boys, the 419ners, the armed robbery, et'al.

The major problem with Northern Nigeria is drug abuse and addiction which is mainly in the north west (Kano, Jigawa, Katsina) and some parts of Kaduna, which, of course we all know is not of major concern to SARZ but NDLEA

So Mr writer, until southern youths reduce crime and their quest for quick, illegal money, they'll continue to be harrased by SARZ.

In the south, nothing has been done to regulate worldly activities like clubbing, partying, immoral dressing, yahoo, e.t.c. The best solution to worldly problems is religion and am afraid down south the dominant religion which is Christianity have mostly been preached out of context, many have twisted it to make money instead of addressing the main issues. But in the north the strict religious laws have restricted some activities to private rather than public. If nothing is done to address this issues, Sars will always have something to hold on to and harass citizens. This is the primary truth and every other thing is secondary.Thank you

It's better to be quiet than display crass ignorance in public. I'm sure maybe save for Abuja you have never step foot in the north. I'm sure you think they wear suits in Maiduguri shey
I asked this same question on another thread.
I was opportune to have witnessed an incident that occurred recently along kaduna - Abuja road where tanker drivers blocked both sides of the road in protest for over 12 hours because a tanker while trying to dodge the road block fell. The GOC who is a general came to beg but they insisted they must be given 3million first. The guy left them there. It was through intervention of top politicians that they decided to move. Mind you, this was a first hand experience also confirmed by one of the soldiers involved. If same thing happened in d East or South, they would have sprayed people with bullets.

Fact is Southerners are too docile. Little wonder why almost all the successful coups in the past were led by the less educated Northerners

Owerri is the worst in their harassment of innocent youths, once they spot you with a flashy car, they will request you give them 100-800k for them to free you. Or they they frame you up

But my fear is the psychological effect of SARS and Police torment on the young Southern Youth.
What is the point being a Nigerian if you don't feel safe in your country.
