OK....time for a lesson

1.The gene for albinisim is what is called a 'recessive' gene...meaning it only manifests when both sperm and ova have the gene.

2.Because it is recessive, it could be passed down for several generations without manifesting in the family.

3.What I suspect happened...both Mike and his wife carry the gene. Because of 'luck' the gene has not been manifesting in their family...till now.

4.I think the problem in their marriage goes way beyond an albino kid.

5.Albinos have a lot of health issues...skin cancer is the worst of the lot.So...hence the gra gra.

Reminds me of an inlaw of mine that rejected an albino child from his girlfriend. He said he didn't have any albino in his family.

After some years, he got married and had twins...guess what? They were both albinos . The dark type just the same kind his ex had.

Yes, albinos have blond or ginger hair. It's the lack of pigmentation. Just Google search 'black albinos' and see for yourself. How many albinos with dark hair have you seen? I've seen none personally.

While you're at it Google search 'parents of black albinos' and you'll see that Mike has made a complete fool of himself.

The fact that he obviously knows nothing about how albinism works as a RECESSIVE gene is a lack of education on the matter. The issue is with him and NOT with her because he lacks knowledge. He and his family should be tested for the gene and his wife too if she wants to. There is no need to doubt paternity based on an albino child. He should be tested for the gene since he is so much in favour of tests.

It is EVERYTHING to do with education because he is speaking out of ignorance.
These are parents of albino children. It's 2018 and it's about time Nigerian men stopped punishing Nigerian women for the gaps in their own knowledge.
