It’s not based on current address, it has to do with a candidates of field of study. Some sponsors or stakeholders have lobbied for where their candidates will be posted.

It depends on the needs of the Operation Controllers at their various field and zonal offices. Economists and Accountants can be posted to offices at any Geopolitical Zone. Some candidates were posted to their zones but field of study was still be a top priority.

Petroleum Engineers, Geologists/ Geophysists were posted to offices that have upstream divisions. Most candidates from Science and Other Engineering disciplines were posted to a few zonal and more field offices in downstream and Saftey and Environment divisions.

Though I haven't said much here as we had better informed informants, but I have personally confirmed from a link in MPR that all is done and dusted and letters are ready so we should be contacted soonest.

If what Marvel said is true, it will be difficult to confirm, cos no one will tell you APLs have been given since it’s not official. Even the recipients will hold on till APL distribution begins officially.
