Let us not all forget how the same Lincofff guy reacted on this platform when he placed an order for someone who refuses to pay back.
He had to post the details of that boy who is currently a student in LAUTech here on this thread calling out on him. We all condemned the young boy, i had to chat the young boy on whatsapp asking the reason why he would want to scam a genuine person willing to to help prospective students. The boy apologised after his initial tantrums with me on whatsapp; behold! I was the one that asked him to go back to Nairaland to appologise which he did. However, he never went for the TOEFL exam and asked Lincoff to decline the payment since he is an undergraduate unwilling to pursue US admission any further.
I even asked the boy yesterday concerning the status of his toefl account after I saw the young man post calling out on Lincoff, he said he saw $425 debt in the account. Lincoff should prove himself innocent by paying back before the posts should be taken down. The explanation of source of his unlimited 50% discount will also suffice to avoid issues of people being penalised for using a stolen credit card for transactions.

It's normal for him to be upset but not everyone will react the way he did. And even after getting a reply from Mr. Lincoff, he still came here to upload the mail and rant. I do online payments for people and I understand that some things are way beyond our control. But for someone to rush here to tarnish the name of another person even without discussing with the person, that's not cool.

His fellow benefactor has told him how she resolved a similar experience and he's still calling the person a scammer. Will a scammer reply him in the first place?

It shouldn't be my business, but I'm not always comfortable when I see people being blackmailed online.

Even BY Mafit and other educational consultancies that handle online payments experience problems of this nature. All that is needed for resolution is dialogue and not ranting.

That guy is suspicious to be a scam. In March, I sent him a pm to help me register for GRE and he's willing to do for 50% discount, in that case I was suppose to pay 35k. After two days I messaged him again that I only have 25k yet he's more willing to register me for GRE. As a sharp guy wey I be and because I thought it was somewhat wallsprings 50% style, I told him to register it at BYmaffit instead of paying directly on ets page so that I can benefit from MAFIT free tutorial but lincuff decilned. Being suspicious of this kind of deal, I registered directly with BY MAFIT 45k in March.. How can you register unlimited 50% even higher percent discount. I still want to know if his father is one of ETS stakeholders.

Lol That's why I asked on the GRE thread the source of their generous offers. Many of them were defensive. On the ETS website, those qualified for fee reduction are not even Nigerians.I know things are not easy but people should try and be watchful.

I started my DS-160 application last month, but didn't complete it. Now the issue is this, I tried logging into my ds-160 page to complete my application, but the message i get each time I put in my application ID is:

I would have started a new application, but the issue is, I have already booked an appointment using the old ID.
