Thanks

VO's claims hes not satisfied that i will leave Canada at the end of my stay based on my family ties in Canada and country of residence, based on my purpose of visit, based on my current employment situation, and based on my personal assets and financial status. I expect these reasons should even strengthen the success of my application, considering the fact that all supporting docs were submitted. Thanks for the link, i will check and revert for further assistance. God bless.

abdpos,

Is there progression between your intended program in Canada with your previous studies/current job role?

You can check out the link below, concerning your refusal grounds while you await your GCMS notes.

Okay, thank you.... I tried to PM you.

Frankrobbn1:

dubaiboy1,

Your uncle needs an affidavit of support, attesting that he will incur all cost during your stay in Canada, that he is fully aware of your travelling to Canada for studies, that he will make sure that funds will be made available for you during subsequent years of study, stating his relationship with you (applicant) etc... this affidavit of support will be stamped and signed by a notary public officer or commissioner of oaths in a federal high court, while your uncle signs as the deponent. It's very crucial you include it with your application.

Hello Fam,

Sorry to go off a lil bit.

My message is for Ontarians. I actually need to know if we have students in Ontario on this forum who understand the process of obtaining a driver's License in Ontario. I am making preparations to obtain the G license at once and I want to know if the following counts

1. International drivers License obtained from FRSC
2. Letter from FRSC stating the number of years the applicant has been driving.
3. Letter from the Nigeria High Commission in Ottawa.

Look forward to a positive contribution

Warm wishes,

Is it a must to tender NYSC certificate for the student visa?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Tobilexz: 2:06pm On Jun 25, 2018
Good afternoon house,

My sister wants to book a one-way flight to canada for me but my visa has to be more than a year to be able to, so I want to ask if anyone knows the visa duration they are likely to give me before I receive my passport back.

Thanks in advance.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by joe10: 2:39pm On Jun 25, 2018
Frankrobbn1:

joe10,

I am sorry about the outcome of your visa application. Please pardon me that I was unable to answer your questions on time, I have been so busy lately and I find it very difficult to answer questions that are thrown in here. I only do so, at my convenient time.

To add to what Hisignature has just said,
Looking closely at your profile, the Visa officer is not after your financial sufficiency, either the visa officer has doubt about your return back home after studies.
As I always say on this reputable forum, payment of upfront tuition is not a prerequisite to Visa approval. As stated by CIC applicants are expected to show proof of funds for their first year of studies at their respective bank accounts and show willingness to pay when the need arises. There was no time CIC instructed an applicant to complete an upfront tuition before visa application. Applicants that do so, only do that at their own expense, while others pay because it's a request from their institution to pay a required (compulsory) amount of tuition deposit, in order to reserve a space for them(acceptance fee). Hence, since your school is not asking you to pay tuition, you don't have to complete an upfront tuition. You may decide to pay tuition only if you were denied on the bases of insufficient funds, just to prove to the visa officer that you've the funds available.

So back to business, If I may ask you Sir,
What's the duration of your proposed program in Canada? Is your intended degree program higher/lower than your already completed degree program in Nigeria? These are factors you need to also put into consideration.

To your questions:
1-) As long as this ICAN syllabus list will further buttress your study intent and give reasons for your return back home, I'll advise you include them in your next application.

2-) Provide little explanations on how your wife and kids tends to cope while you are away for studies, a rental income is fine. Add documents to evident this fact to be true.

3-) In as much as you did an upfront medicals along side your previous refused application, you don't need to undergo another medical test again. Simply include the E-medical slip that was issued to you at the hospital where you completed the previous medical test to your next application. The Visa officer will quickly use the UMI number that is located at the beneath of the medical slip to track your medical result and update it to your Mycic account.
Furthermore, be guided that your next visa application will start afresh and will undergo the normal processing. There are high possibility that a new visa officer will review your next application, so go ahead and include relavant documents that will portray you as a genuine student that will leave Canada after studies.

4-) A bank statement is valid for 3-4weeks (1-month) at the time of visa application submission. Thus, in your case, it's advisable you obtain an updated statement for your next visa application that ends in July 2018.

Above all, to be able to convince the visa officer lies solely on your efforts towards putting up a rational SOP.

It shall end in praises in your next application!

All the best!

Proff Frankrobbn1 I am highly grateful your insightful advise.

If you explained in your SOP that you went for a mandatory NYSC, please inlcude the certificate to support your claims, other than this, it's not compulsory.

Issuance of visa is based on the duration of your program in Canada. If your program is a 2 year program you will have a visa issued for this duration.

Frankrobbn1:

Bieber78,

Sorry about the outcome of your application brother.

From the GCMS note you shared, the Visa officer is clearly pointing at your SOP.
First, simply start by explaining why your proposed program in Canada is reasonable considering the high cost of international students and difficulty of undertaking a foreign education i.e why leaving your family members for a very long period of time in pursuit of academic excellence. Why you decide to complete this course of study in Canada rather than Nigeria, that would not warrant paying exorbitant international students fee.

Secondly, present a justifiable reasons to why you should leave Canada at the completion of your studies. Here your home ties comes into play, Absence of adequate ties to your home country can impact chances adversely as this may raise doubts on your intent to return home after completing your studies. Putting into consideration that you're still at a very young age 19years old, having an established family in your home country with ownership of properties and other assets will be sufficient to prove family ties.
Explain extensively how your intended program will be of paramount benefit to you as a person, to your family business (how you decide to take up the business to a preeminent height in the nearest future) and also how it will be of good impact to your nation as a whole.

Do the above in your next application and you will smile with victory.

All the best!

Thanks for the info bro

Thanks sir

Your suggestions is of great help and motivation sir. I will work in the stated direction

Thanks once again

Frankrobbn1:

DLNEY,

You don't have to hide the already acquired MSc certificate, considering it's related to your proposed course in canada. You're better off presenting justifiable reasons to why you opted for a second masters degree at this point in time rather than Master's. Show correlation of program with your intended program and career goals. I have seen applicants going for second masters degree and were approved of their visas. I'll advise you do the same, in as much as you're unable to get an admission for PhD. Think on how to present a standardized SOP that explains your intention for study and you will be fine.

All the best!

Pls how did you guys know where the visa is being processed

Dboy4u:
You didn't answer my questions o.. So i would re-post my issue again; ..

Urgent answer needed please (bit lengthy-post)

Good eve guys, i submitted my application at lagos (vfs) on april 13th, 2018.. Instructed to do medicals on; may 5th... Did my medicals on May 7th... Passed my medicals a week after, thus, i didnt receive any further notifications until i had to track it online / link it to my email...
(Note: My application is being processed at Nairobi, Kenya)
And up till now, i'm still seeing final notification... I can say its over a month now; i've been waiting ever since i passed my medicals, and i heard it wasn't suppose to take over 2 weeks maximum..

Also, its been 9 weeks plus in general now.

So my question is;

1) Is there any prescribed email / phone no. for kenya embassy where i can write to make my complaints??.. If any, please i would appreciate.

2) I hope i won't look desperate by writing them, even as my session begins by september 5th.

3) What could be causing such delay now Because the restless - stress isn't just a funny thing jor. Habah.. Shuooo..

Thanks in advance for your reply / replies.
