Safari, for the first time since 2014, I would be rooting against Messi on Tuesday. I feel for Messi but Tuesday would be his last game at this World Cup. I pray and hope that Messi stick around tho .... I think he's still got one more World Cup in him - 2022 might be his year.

Bros why you dey swear for Argentina ?

Messi is on a decline. Sorry but that is the truth. If Messi is still called upon to be their Alpha and Omega (No 10) in 2022 it means Argentina has not progressed.

they'd progress based on goals scored. They'd have 3 whilst we manage 2

Where did they get 3 goals from?

They scored 1 against Argentina and conceded 1 = 0

They conceded 2 from us = -2 goals

We conceded 2 from croatia and scored 2 against iceland, so we have +0

So who gave iceland 3 goals?

. grin. It's not even up for debate. We will beat them 2mao. Messi can score after it's 5:0 in the 91st minute grin

If we are to win, it wont be more than a 1 goal margin.

It is not the size of a dog that matters in a fight but the size of the fight in the dog...

The Super Eagles must go into the game with a mindset that must command a favourable result...

Can you please remind me of any of his deadly freekick that almost led to a goal because I can't remember one?

It was for that reason Etebo took over from him. I guess?

However, I can still remember Victor Moses's cross that found Balogun though he didn't score.

At least, I remembered one or two Victor handled well.

Maybe you watched a different match.
Etebo was the taker of left side free kicks. None of Iheanacho kicks were close to being a goal but at least his kicks made it to some of our players. Moses kicks them out of the box.

story for the gods

Let Ighalo go and appease the Edo witches that have tied up his luck. The guy go play ball scatter, but he no dey find net

I don't think you realise that I don't hate Ighalo, I hate that he has bad luck. After all, I have admitted here numerous times that he is a decent footballer.

Anyway, all the Kelechi haters here will also eat their words very soon. I just dey look all of them, since we have turned this thread to Kelechi vs. Everybody in the striking department.

Then be ready to concede a penalty, free-kicks in dangerous areas and also to get a red card

sad

Agreed without reservation.

The only player able to cage and or restrict Messi is Etebo. Anybody else is multiple fouls and hopefully not a red card in waiting.

Which clear cut chance?

He created something out of nothing by beating a defender and goalkeeper with a technical strike.

It looks very easy to you because e bi like say you never kick felele before. grin

I forsee ighalo's refusal to pass coming to haunt us after tomorrow.

Because we'll most likely draw again St Argentina and Iceland may defeat croatia

grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin So the FAKE Ronaldo has lost a penalty as well? OK, let's see how much noise the fake news media is going to make on this missed penalty because I knew that we didn't stop hearing about it when Leo Messi lost one.

Meanwhile, lemme laugh in French again.

Yes that's what i meant or did i say anything different?

Net goal is what you have left after your "against" is minus from your "for" goals.

Net Goals=Goals Difference

Gross Goals= Goals For or Goals scored
