I deliberately refrained from perusing most of the pictures sent to my. The sight of them wud hunt me forever.

At the risk of appearing to justify the herdsmen attack I will try to be careful what I type.

In 2010 during my service year in Ebonyi state, I met a Fulani vet doctor, the 1st Fulani friend I ever had and he chronicled a clear picture of Fulani herdsmen, highlighting the depth of illiteracy that pervades them. That they revel in their abode in the forest.
The choking illiteracy that exists among them makes it difficult for them to expose to the world what they face in the hands of violent rustlers and hostile communities over the years.
I grew up as a little boy back then to see Fulanis, who once in awhile throng our streets, wielding sticks. And there's a reason they now go about armed. Any sincere effort to resolve this age-long crisis has to look into that.

Moreso, is the fact that southern dominated media has failed to portray the true plight of the herdsmen. Miyeti happens to be the only medium through which they re heard.
Miyeti in their statement that I read, didn't claim responsibility for the attacks. But they attributed that responsibility for the attacks to the herdsmen. These are two different tins. Mitering even went on to condemn the attacks.
Take Saraki and the offa bank robbers case as an example. Not withstanding the account of the robbers that they are sponsored thugs of saraki and that saraki bought them a vehicle, there's no existing fact that saraki sent them to rob.

Then again, sentiments does not favor the herdsmen. I remember clearly when it came in the news just last week how Fulani's coming back from the market where killed by people of that same community. Those were innocent fulanis. The matter was lightly reported by the media as many dismissed it as insignificant with the wave of the hand, while many insensitive Christians on NL gloated over the news.
Fast forward to today and see for yourself.

Most times, it is same Fulani people that also rustle their fellow Fulani tribesmen's cattle.

At least we can all see that the victims won't be those poor defenseless people living in the village alone We can see an elite persons son killed, that's how it will keep consuming those in authority that refused to do the right thing but continued to give flimsy excuse for Fulani wickedness against fellow humans.

Seriously with the way Nigeria is going, any slightest expansion of this Fulani madness to the south might result to mass killings and nationwide chaos which may lead to another deadly civil war and probably the end of Nigeria because another civil war will definitely kill and bury Nigeria finally.

Why can't these rich politicians that own these cattle's invest in ranching and stop these barbaric herdsmen from going about destroying peoples farm produce in the name of rearing cattle, their personal business

All over the world, big firms like Mobil, Shell, Total, BP, etc are forced to pay communities and regions when oil spillage thats most times beyond their control mistakenly occurs, but Fulani herdsmen destroy peoples farms, kill villagers and go scold free and we think such injustice will continue unrewarded forever

Nature has a way of fighting back and balancing the earth if u don't know
