Being following this thread since April last year and am glad to announce that ITA arrived like a thief in the night yesterday. I did medicals at prime medical consultants in PH yesterday in anticipation of Wednesday draw but IRCC had other plans.
Although my experience at prime medicals was not the best waking up to getting ITA has rejuvenated me.

Please guys let's stop asking questions like this..... Nairaland is a public e-place and VOs could be here, who knows?
Don't let them start taking this work experience thing very serious for Nigerians.
You can search for people's moniker and pick randomly, pm and ask the person.
No one would support you openly here concerning this question.
My one cent though.

It's not compulsory.... Since you have enough evidence to prove you worked there.

My experience at Prime medicals was great.
Booked an appointment few days before i went for medicals
Got there at around 1pm. We were only 3 persons there.
The whole process (including going to another facility for xray) took about 30mins and that's was all.

Means you now have 60days to apply after you receive ITA, this is for those who receives ITA going forward, previous ones still have a 90 day window.

I'm assuming they are having too much backlog. They want people to enter fast and clear. If you don't have all required documents, just don't create EE profile, not to talk of getting ITA

Just my village thinking

my gurus in the house. please help a sister.

i just got ITA. i entered the pool as a divorcee. Now i never did change of name. However, when our divorce was finalized, my name was used as maiden name - married name. because the judge claimed they cant issue a divorce with my name as a 'miss'.

My question now is, under my personal details in my express entry pool. they asked if i have used another name other than my current name. do i need to say "yes"? and what document would i need to provide?

Congratulations on your ITA. I did mine @Prime last month. It was smooth and lasted less than 25 mins. - just a couple and their child and myself. Register for a Planning for canada session coming up next month in PH. [/quote]

I got there 7am and the nurse and secretary did not come till 8am .doctor started examination by 9am and spent minimum 30mins per patient so even though I was the third person didn't finish till like 11am then I was sent to go pay before lab and X-ray.
Payment and sample collection took another one hour and I was lucky to get a ride to the X-ray centre which surprisingly was located outside that big hospital.
I got there and waited for well over one hour before I could do the chest X-ray so I finished everything late in the afternoon.
P. S- ensure you take a cab directly to the hospital and keep the drivers number because you also need to get to PIX for X-ray. I didn't enjoy trekking from the junction to the hospital

Please which school did you do msc for 1year
opella:
Good day house, I have a confusing question.

I started my M.sc Feb. 2016 and finished Feb. 2017, but on getting my transcript, I saw Dec 2015- Dec 2016. I asked why the date was so, i was told that's the school calender, that we were meant to start Dec, but started February because the set before us didn't finish their project on time. I'm so confused on the actual date to use because I've been using 2016- 2017.

It depends on the person's crs. They already have masters, depending on age and marital status there might be no need to spend extra 100k writing TEF.
Ok

DrStrangelove:
Hello Family,

Thanks for this wonderful community we have. Its been a blessing.

Please my wife entered the EE pool. We have done all our ECA and IELTS, both me and her. She is the primary applicant. Now, my issue/challenge is my wife 's work experiece as a lawyer. She practised initially for about a year in a chambers until she had to fly out for child delivery. She decided against going back to the chambers because she didnt like the place. So she got a flexible job as an Insurance marketer with an insurance company and she loves what she does. Also we cannot find this new job in the NOC list. Moreover, the law skill gives more points in the CRS. Now she does some legal work by the side from time to time but sparingly. She entered the pool as a lawyer and we tried using a family friend's chambers in her work history/experience, as the one and only/current workplace. Long and short, the family friend backed out that we shouldnt use his law firm which will now mean we have to use another law firm thereby editing the earlier entry in her profile. Now my challenge is this, looking at the EE section summary, we see 'transmitted' in each row of the profile. Now does CIC take and keep in history, entry changes in the EE profile? If not, can we then edit the old workplace and put in a new one which is now a surebanker? Or CIC doesnt care about what goes on in our EE profiles not until post-ITA? Or should i just delete the profile and create a new one from scratch? Advice needed

Thanks

Oga sir, why are you complicating matters for yourself nah? What do you mean as the law skill gives more points in the CRS?
Please do not lie concerning your application. Are you aware that you lot can have your permanent residence revoked in the future if it comes out that you had lied/misrepresented certain facts in your FSW application.

Working as a lawyer for 3 years and someone else working as a school teacher for 3 years is the same 3 years in CIC journey. No one is bigger than the other. Please take out time and read page 0 of this thread for better understanding. I don't know anything about CIC storing transmitted information or not so I cant tell if editing your work history will favour you or not. However, I would simply advise that you kukuma delete your profile and start afresh.

Your Mrs has 1 year experience in the law firm.
Let her state her job description for the Insurance marketing role and people will help her pinpoint an appropriate NOC code that goes with it.
How many years has she worked in the Insurance marketing role? Whatever decision you choose to go along with, just ensure you don't put yourself in trouble due to misrepresentation. Good luck
