Its not a lie Nigerian women are endangered on daily basis, they get harassed, maimed and oppressed, they ain't even allowed to speak cos they will be victimised, every gender has its own struggles, but fact is Nigeria is a dangerous place for women we see things everyday.

Even if the laws are favorable (which is not necessarily true), it doesn’t mean there aren’t people who will flout the laws. There are sexist practices in America especially by conservatives.

And women in America tend to be very very outspoken against any slight form of mistreatment. So America will always makes the list forever and ever because the women will never stop complaining about any slight injustice. No matter how small.

A grate deal of Nigerians really don't understand the West. For instance, too many Nigerians believe that relevant organizations in the West charged with disseminating news items will be scrupulous with information, bound by some ethics. If Nigerians and those that claim they are Nigerians are easy and content with portraying their nation in sensational terms for political or financial gains, news hounds in the West will pick up those news and run with it and shortly lies become facts spread around the world.

Nigeria wey women and girls dey sound men slap up and down. Nigerian women are spoilt rotten in Nigerian homes and wider community, don't take my word for it, go sample even views from foreigners married to Nigerian women.

First thing forigners interested in Nigerian women will tell you is that Nigerian women are bossy and materialistic. Nigerian women are darn right confident and opinionated. Women from societies where women are oppressed don't act like Nigerian women, I can tell you. The cultured way many Nigerian women and girls carry themselves often disguises this fact.

There is a strong case for suggesting White women were more oppressed than African women ever were. It's just that the West always assume that they are ahead of Africa in all regards, therefore, if white women can be bossed around how much more, African women....?
