In about some 12years - 2025, 40million Nigerians would be doing most of their transactions online. There is gonna be a massive urbanization and the population would have increased by, atleast, 10%. Things like pepper, matches and toiletries would be purchased online. I've been thinking lately about having a solid e-payment system. A system that would do the job of Liberty Reserve or Paypal, strictly for nigerians/africans. Is there anyone working on something similar or who knows his/her onions and his/her is willing to exchange ideas? If yes, then PM me.

Project: A seamless e-payment system that would cater for payments to be made home and abroad.

ayox2003 i am extremely interested in an epayment solution. I looked into it a couple of months ago, but it seems one as to go through either interswitch or one of this other merchants because of clearing. Although one of my oga's on this site, by name lekan ojikutu owns vogue pay. Maybe i should even contact him sef, hopefully he will reply this time.

The first picture shows how it looks.

Last night I finished adding our last feature which is a dedicated im chat page like how the web facebook messenger works. Second pic.

I would appreciate it if you guys go check it out and give me feedback. http://www.reflap.com

Damn, so many ideas on here!...wish I was better enlightened while choosing a course career...I study Accountancy, but have a knack for programming...most of my friends would say "I bet you'll make it in life with programming and not your course".
Learnt vb6, C++ , C Lang, and Java as far back as 2013-14...but sadly today, I only make use of vb.net which I graduated into myself...university studies is really eating up my time and I seriously wish I had more time to practise.
.
Not to praise myself, but I've always been better at programming than my colleagues supposedly undergraduates in Computer Sciences while learning, that I was even called back to come tutor a class on programming and web dev.
Just at a crossroad on whether to advance in Accountancy or dive fully into the programming world.
#Damn, if I were to die and return, Lord knows I already have a set career!!!.

i really do understand you.. studying something unrelated shouldn't stop you from practicing regularly.. I'm working on a project it'll be fun.. you can follow me so that i can mention you when we're done.. smiley

Yea well, to an extent, it doesn't debar it...but on the long run, there's every probability one would drift gradually from the former to the latter since you would wanna challenge yourself to take up a project, and bliv me, it 'always' takes more time than projected.
...and yea, following...anticipating...

I'm working on a Tic Tac Toe reinforcement learning algorithm.

This might seem different from most projects I've seen here which have been web applications. I'm not really interested with Web Dev.

Why i asked is that i put the image on thesame package with my java file yet when it was run, i got only text as an output without the image being there. Don't scold the guy. That is in the past now.

All he needs now is encouragement to move forward.

It may not be "done" but it's usable as it is. The basics are in place.

Programmmers are a busy bunch, always busy with
one project or the other. So what project(s) are
you currently 'busy' with? Perhaps you are
working on a next generation OS that will displace
all the Gates and Windows we are used to or
developing an Intergalactic Charting Software for
NASA or something nearer earth like the software
for a JAVA-controlled electronic toothpick (  grin )
, whatever, share them here.
the project is like Reddit
