I was motivated to join the Xiaomi family after seeing it's specs and all testimonies about their devices and i got the redmi 5 plus through Noobody..

Now I see strange things like fake rom etc talks on the MI forum.. don't even know if the room is official or fake..

Now the main problem is my touch pad is not responding to touches.. it's not broken and didn't fall in water..

I'm so confused, don't know if this is a software or hardware problem research shows this is common among redmi users..

I.have to press the power bottom to switch on and forth the backlight etc..

Please which way forward..

I think you need to update your phone. It's one of the bugs that was fix in the last update I did.

Got my first personal xiaomi redmi 5a plus, yesterday . Very nice sleek phone. It took just 10 days to get it via Singapore mail. Bought it during mid year promo for a little closer to 50k.
E be like say na Chinese ROM initially from the casing and my seller put global ROM before shipping.
I beg i don't like the follow come launcher, is there a way to use my personal luncher from playstore without rooting? .
Besides , I told my seller to put musical device on it before shipping but he said he knows what to do. He just wrote cellphone valued $40 and slightly reduced the weight. E no put xiaomi or original price value.
This is a wake up trick I have been using for long. If you are buying ur self, tell them make Dem no put original price or name unless your people here will value it for you and you know the meaning.
I strolled enter post office , they collected only 200naira and gave me receipt for it. Be smart. If u no fit, buy from trusted sellers here.
