The point the article is trying to bring out saliently is that "some" African members should "at the very least" be invited for observation.

I spent 4 years here in Nyahururu 2010-2015 and in July it can go as low as 5c. Just before I landed smth very strange happened. An 800 m long by 2 m thick ice block fell out the sky and landed 2 k outside the town! Not snow,not hail or slush but a GIANT FCKVING ICE BLOCK. It took a month and a half to melt and the farm owner discovered his ten pancaked cows underneath. Nobody ever explained the mechanics of the situation and its never happened before in living memory.
