Gambling is evil only when you give it chance to get into You, what most people fail to understand is limitations, in everything you do know your limit. The company that tells you to gamble responsible are not fools. If you know that losing a hundred naira will pain you don't gamble with it, You only stake what you can afford to loss. The day I made up my mind to stop drinking beer I did it with ease and I still go to beer palour with friends even buy them beer but I don't drink. I am not encouraging anyone to start gambling but as human beings we need to know our limit.

First it was 1960bet, then came Nairabet, Surebet247, Merrybet, and Bet9ja. Now we have betking, betfarm, bonanzabet, beltway, winnersgoldenbet, .........

The Nigerian market is a goldmine for all these betting companies. Its not their fault. Hardly will u see a person that is 'gainfully' employed doing this betting thing.

next time u are tempted to play virtual,
go with empty pocket, take a pen and paper, forecast games and write the amount u wish to bet, keep writing ur winnings and ur loss. At the end of the day, do a check and balance on how much u could have lost if u came out with money.
try that for 1week, u will be thanking God from saving u from staking ur money

Good morning, folks
First of all, don't mind the English, be more concerned with the message I am trying to pass across.

Base on a front page topic this morning, I decided to share my experience and I hope one or two will learn from it.

My sincere apologies to my dad(a nairalander) bae and all my friends who are nairalanders and may see this

I was a good gentle man full of business ideas and a good dreamer before I met virtual.  I was (am) good with stuffs.. was a reader.. I know a lot of stuffs about history, about religion, about politics, about technology and whole lots of stuffs.  my mates could attest to the fact that I was super intelligent. And in vogue.   my mechanic dad nd trader mum had high hopes.. been the first to get admitted into a university in my extended family (paternal).
I made friends and the my future looked promising..
Got admission into the university 2012.

2015, I started gambling.. after I failed to convince my friends to allow us to be the first set of people to open a virtual shop in my city then.
I did something crazy then.. got a winning formula I discovered and used then, i didn't tell anyone while playing real games.. until 1960bet packed up.. so i forayed into virtual. Spent all my savings and pocket money on virtual..

Betting... no be me and you

It's not a sham. It's a speculation on the future. The problem is, a lot of people invest in cryptocurrencies expecting the stability of a real world business that provides goods and services to customers. But, it's not a business, it's a speculation. You can lose everything or make 100x your investment.

Seems you are good at it,can I have your email?

People who get addicted to gambling are those wey just dey start gambling.

If you have played sports bet for very long, say 5yrs or more, you for don get sense know say na risk!

I don't see how someone will say he is addicted to gambling and he is just placing 100,200naira per ticket. What will you now do when you start making big bucks and spending it at expensive wines.

If you can't break away from mere 100,200naira bet is it when you start balling that you think you can break away from.

Too much of everything is bad,
U can't be gambling like a fool! Apply wisdom

Most importantly , THE GOLDEN RULE OF BET ;
# NEVER STAKE WHAT YOU CANT AFFORD TO LOSE

I wanna go back to school next year...
I still have a semester left.. is it possible?
I left about 2 years or so ago
Do it quickly, don't waste time to inquire about it from your school.. Different rules for different schools... Before it is too late! Only one semester to graduate? Wish you the best!

Got this online

Job opportunities in lottery and sports betting are limitless and the revenue can help sustain the economy of the country. Croatia in 2015 funded 19 percent of its budget with revenue accrued from lotteries. Another example is the 2012 London Olympics Games which was said to be solely financed by revenue from lotteries.

Sports betting is not for the faint hearted. I use maximum of N6,000 in a month for it, which is less than what I use to fuel my car in 4 days of continuous driving. In other words, I actually pay more for DSTV and Internet airtime than I spend on sports betting. As it is, I have not placed a single bet on the World Cup after the group stages. I do not take unnecessary chances. Due to my compounding chart which I use, I never try to win millions with N100 or N200. It is a recipe for disaster.

Run away from accumulator bets and run away from virtuals. VIRTUALS ARE THE EQUIVALENT OF MATCH-FIXED REAL-LIFE GAMES. When the referee, officials and certain players have been paid off the way Juventus used to do it in the 90s and 2000s, you can never win no matter what. That is how virtuals are.

Thank God I never dabbled into these things in my younger years. I only started when I had reached a stage where I can control my emotions on several matters.
interesting

I thought sports betting was an unchristian thing to do like drinking alcohol and smoking?

have you asked the holyghost for wisdom on it?

Thanks so much.. how long do you think this will take.. and i attended a state university.

I wanna resume next year. It will be 4 years after I left the university with no letter leave of absence or whatsoever

Go back to your Department and talk to the Head of Department.. He or She will be in the best position to advice you.

Four years is a very long time with no letters especially the leave of absence letters to back your dropping out of school...
