What i believe about tithing is this:

the blessing that comes with tithing is the same blessing that comes when you give.

So tithers now misunderstand such blessing as if its coming from their tithes, mainwhile its a blessing coming because they gave out

The gave out yes,but to whom and to what benefits?
Giving to the poor among us and giving to one CONMAN who wants to ride a Private Jet ain't the same thing..

Is Saudi not doing fine economically? Religion was there when $1=N1. The other day, they were blaming big brother. BBN has come and gone and our problems are still there. Until we put pressure on our leaders to perform, nothing will change

Saudi Arabia benefits from a vast amount of resource that the world currently requires. They have so much wealth that despite their princes shooting bullets made of gold, they still have enough money to pacify their populace, albeit with a huge dose of religion too. If I were religious, I would claim Saudi Arabia is currently being blessed way more than any other nation in the entire history of humans. But things are changing fast.

Saudi Arabia recently took out its first national loan because it's resource is dwindling. It plans to sell its oil company because it's no more providing enough revenue. They even removed the ban on women working and driving just so they can generate more income by increasing their tax base! And they are implementing all these changes because they realise that religion is not holding on to people as strongly as it used to.

As you truly stated, Saudi Arabians are putting pressure on their leaders to perform and that's why they are changing. They know that one more generation is all it would take for Saudi Arabia to scatter scatter if they don't change their religious ways!

Africans are intellectually lazy. Give them books, they may come out with first class from " cramming and vomiting" but challenge them on the practices of learned principles and it becomes clear that they are tabulae rasa.

Instead of working smart, they believe in miracles from outside sources for success. Talk about low self-esteem. Anyone who thinks that tithing, beheading another human and scamming are the only ways to success is suffering from an incurable innate affliction. Slavery was 'abolished' as a result of industrial revolution in Europ and America which made slaves useless in the plantation field. Without that, the whites will never abolish slavery.

In other words, they believe that if they don't abolish slavery and some of their people keep transporting slaves to the new world, that the demographics will change in favour of the black race.

At the time of the slave trade there were no modern state and although slavery did exist across West Africa it was not industrialized.

Though the trade in blacks as an international commodity was started by Arab Muslims. Indeed both Islam and the Catholic church approved the trade in black people.

The Europeans arrived and brought guns which they traded for slaves. This changed the balance of power in many situations and for hundreds of years the slave traade was what made previously inconsequential kingdoms great.

Imagine if an external force arrived today with some previously unknown weapon and hands it to MEND saying we will sell you these weapons to liberate you from Nigeria but in return you will sell us 100 Fulani herdsmen a month.

First let him tell us the church he is pastoring or has pastored. Then let him give account of his stewardship i.e. how well he handled the flock and present to us the fruit of his labours as a pastor. Then and only then will I take him serous. tithing is not a witchcraft scheme to get rich, its not a transaction but a sign of gratitude to God. there are other benefits not only wealth (which the OP worships) besides, the devil is in charge of the world system and can choose to ignore those in delusion and let them prosper. if you dont tithe to God, you tithe to the devil. Despite their apparent prosperity, the japanese have one of the highest suicide rates and depression in the world. idiots believe in quantity over substance
