hurricanesgrace:hurricanesgrace, It's a false information. You're free to reapply as much as you can. There are no limited number of times you're expected to fill in an application. Endeavour to be sure that you're doing the right thing before reapplication i.e by addressing the concerns of the visa officer. All the best! |

Ogedadiva:Ogedadiva, You can link your application online once you've successfully submitted your TRV application. Follow the guidelines in the attached link to do so. LINK YOUR APPLICATION ONLINE All the best |

Guys, I noticed that the applications made for Canadian student visa are done either through paper-route or online submission. Does it mean one-on-one interview with a visa officer doesnt apply, just like it is done in the US student visa process? Please clarify me |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by originally(m): 12:27pm On Jul 23, 2018 |
odimbannamdi:Bolded is the answer. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by mcobex: 1:06pm On Jul 23, 2018 |
Aghatise:Congratulations bro. Don't mind them, let them still be checking your background after giving you TRV (LOL!). They will soon update your profile and you will see your letter. Best of luck |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by mcobex: 1:09pm On Jul 23, 2018 |
odimbannamdi:Interviews are organised in some RARE cases. The normal process doesn't include interview but they have every right to call an applicant for one of they have reasons to, but like I said earlier it is very very rare |

Age 29, HND Civil Engineering, graduated 2014, NYSC was 2015. I keep getting referred to apply through agent . Pls those who have successfully applied to Fanshawe, how did you go about it? rLady(f): 2:21pm Hello house, I have a BSc in biochemistry and intend going for masters in public health in Canada at University of Manitoba or Simon Fraser University, but when i checked the requirements for doing MPH in Manitoba, they indicated that I have to have a minimum of 3 years paid work experience in public health field and I don't have any, just a fresh graduate currently working as a sales representative . Am I eligible to continue processing my application? Or better still I should look for another school.? wat other universities in Canada can I also apply to for an mph degree? Your advise would be highly appreciated, Thank You! |

Tunajma:To the best of my knowledge, you cannot apply for admission at Fanshawe college without using any of their Nigerian agents. I would be resuming in September at the college and the school gave me a list of all the agents that works for them, please contact them to give you the lis ( I have the list but it may be against the rules here to post it). All the agency will do is to get admission for you and you will apply for visa YOURSELF (Do not pay agent to help you with your visa process. All the information you need is here on Nairaland). That’s what i did. Finally, Fanshawe college has one of the fastest admission process (infact you will get admission within 5 days). For January admission, you are even too early but it is better you get the admission NOW so you can take your time to process your visa which could take about 3 months. God be with you bro and I hope to see you in Canada. |

ngunaniveren:Hello gurus in the house, I received my passport and the reasons for the denial of study visa today. Reason are based on the following: 1. Family ties in Canada and country of residence. 2. Purpose of visit 3. Personal assets and financial status My questions are these: 1. I am single, without a child in Nigeria and don't know any one in Canada. How do I address the concern of family ties? 2. My sponsor is not a relation who lives abroad and despite sending a letter of sponsorship and prove of finances abroad (i.e Bank statements, tax clearance, and pay slips), it is not enough. How do I address personal assets and financial status issue? 3. I included my admission letter during visa application, though no fees was paid because it was not required by the school at the time of application. How do I address the issue of purpose of visit? Please, I need your assistance. Thank you for your time and consideration. |

Good day pals... Please before submitting my application documents at the VFS office. The attendant that verified my documents said i must record 10 years work history even though i told him that i only have 4 years work experience as evidenced on my submitted offer letter. i had to edit and reprint my application form. Hope this won't be an issue when the VO finds out that my actual work experience is 4yrs but stated 10yrs on my application form. Has anyone experienced similar case cos i am worried about this? |

This could also help others too. Whenever you are ask to put 10years work experience, It actually calculated like this. E.g @Joe10 has 4years work experience + NYSC (1year)+ BSc degree (4 or 5years), when you sum everything up you will discover you have covered the 10 years work experience and again the work experience is trying to know what exactly you have been doing for the past 10 years be it schooling, working, volunteering e.t.c. So @Joe10 what did you put in addition to your 4years work experience? joe10: |
