However, this is a lesson to all, especially those who see/regard some other people in showbiz e.g. OAPs as people who have or know it all! Don't just go by the façade and hype you hear/see in the media.

In as much as I didn't commit suicide 3yrs ago when I was facing one of the worst challenges on earth and I still stand firm to my destiny til date?

Everybody should have it in mind that problem is part of life Infact if you don't face challenge u will never learn and might not know how some people in that situation and feeling.

Dude, in as much as I agree with you that suicide is never a solutuon, you just have to be aware that Mental Health issues is a big challenge not only in Nigeria but all over the world. The sad aspect of this challenge is that the Nigerian government is deliberately ignoring this pandemic.

Do you even know if it's a man that caused her a broken heart and depression?

All I know is, if you're depressed, tell people who love you (you would know if you're wise) what you're going through.

I have experienced it and almost killed myself by jumping off the back of a speeding Hilux pickup, so I know pretty much what I'm talking about.......

And because of this problems, any guy that sees those gets turned off. So this must have driven her into depression, which led her to commit suicide.

Sadly as families become more nuclear and people keep themselves to themselves, people will become more lonely. With reduced social support network, people with mental health issues suffer even more in silence. Especially in 9ja that has an abysmal mental health care system.

Combined with a society where appearing to be beautiful, happy and successful is now expected, the pressure can be overwhelming for some.

But key to remember that everyone has their own demon, problems and challenges.

If unable to cope, seeking help from family and friends is not a sign of weakness but strength. There are people around you who care enough to help you if you let them know.

Depression is a serious thing... what makes it so bad is that the person suffering depression sees no end to it. So why not end the life and end the suffering. Honestly, if not for the way it would affect my family, I would have killed myself since.

The truth is that most people are just living in the hype, nobody really cares or takes time to look at even the frnd or stranger rite next to them to know if they are really ok all they care about is the next hype or fun on the flip side The economy is bad so people refuse to care or even show concern cos they are trying to survive themselves. Im sure she had family, frnds and colleagues who where probably not sensitive enough to know wat she was going tru bt there will certainly be signs shes struggling with smtn more than she cud bare. We need to ask questions and ne more sensitive to one another. Its shud be a duty to help genuine people.
