Please I need your advice. Is so happened that I know this lady for years now. we are good friends. But the problem is, I know that as a Christian we can't really get married because she is a Muslim. So I have been trying to keep the relationship on just us being friends, even though I love her and I know She has this little feelings for me. If I had been serious, I know we would have gotten married or close to that, but I keep avoiding her and sometimes I do it on purpose.

Now, where I get really confused is that, any time i pray for God's will in marriage, she keeps coming to my mind. This is not infatuation or something. It has been happening over and over again. I know God also talk to us through giving us this deep impression in our heart.

It was so deep on day that I told the Holy Spirit that I can't marry her. I spoke with my pastor this week concerning this issue, and he said it is not possible for God to tell us to marry a Muslim and this thing keeps coming. am really confuse. because of this, have not been praying concerning marriage.

PLEASEEEEEE, I need Christians to comment on this.

brother that's my problem. I don't if it is possible that God can be saying I should marry her. there is feelings between us. Even where we work, people have told several times to marry her. But I love Christ. God has been so good to me. I want to the will of God. Am really confuse. How I wish she is not a Muslim.

you need to look beyound christianity for your own sanity, both religion has same birth place till date, they are like husband and wife with two different character.The thing is the vast majority of religious people in 9ja do not do research, they just believe in what they have been told, Islam and christianity has same bearing, it was eartlings like you and me who segrigated and hijacked the original doctrine for selfish gains.But God knows best and aint a man who changes.there is only one GOD, We call him JEHOVA muslimd call him AlLAH.

Bro talking about her in your mind anytime you pray about marriage, I guess you already have an idol in your heart, and that is the result. But if you think that God is leading you, ask God to make her to convert to your religion on her own.If you try convincing her to convert, she may play along with you because she wants to be with you.Her parent may not like it too.
Remember that God warned Solomon not to marry from a particular tribe because they will take his heart away from Him(God).He did and they took his heart away from God.Please be careful and don't be in a haste.Marriage is a JOURNEY not a DESTINATION that is why in the spirit realm Shoe is usually used to represent it.You know what happens when one wears oversized or undersized shoe.

Oh! indeed. abeg. which chapter and verses of the Bible literally say that Christian should not marry Muslim ? I don't know why people make some religious doctrine or believe influence their sense of reasoning. like Muslim serve demons abi ? they ain't worshipping God ? one of vice president daughter marry a Muslim despite her dad being a pastor of the highest level. I can't accept other factors as family and tribe as a basis of not going far with her. but in religion basis, I won't. even Christianity was build on the basis of love. the Bible say in first peter 4:8 love each other deeply, because lover covers over a multitude of sin..also in James. the Bible also clearly state that "if I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all Knowledge and if I have a faith that can move mountains but do not have love, I'm nothing.

take a bold step towards your desire, otherwise, you might leave to regret it for the rest of your life.

In the religious context. An unbeliever is someone who doesn't believe in the existence of God. however, it is under this religion that will have christian and Muslim

in the Christianity context which you have rightfully define is an act of not believing in God through Jesus Christ the son of God but the person believe in God

in the Islamic context. An unbeliever is also someone who does not believe in God through prophet Muhammed but believe in the existence of God.

However, Christianity was found on the basic of love and the Bible say we should love even our enemies. you can't tag Muslims as an unbeliever simple because they don't believe in Jesus Christ but believe in God.

the major thing we all should understand is that we serve the same God. the only difference occur in our ways of pleasing and appealing this same God, however, both religious believe so much in God, while Christian call on God through Jesus Christ, Muslim also call on God through prophet Muhammed who is God sent to the world.

let's begin to see things objectively rather than allowing our religious dogma to influence in the way we view other religion.

This is another reason to be an Antitheist, remove religious discrimination, racial discrimination, tribal discrimination and OP would've been asking "Can a Man marry a woman?"

All religion does is divide us and give us one extra reason to antagonise each other as though the reasons we already have aren't enough

who is pastor when God speaks, he knows how it will happen, he doesn't speak and say can I do it, my bro No. have heart to heart conservation with the lady and ask her if she can convert to a Christan, that is if you genuinely love her. if she says no, go back to God since he has spoken and challenge him. The first problem you're having is your Pastors,they gave you guys a misinterpretation of the word "BORN AGAIN". You're not a born again Christian neither are you a Christian in the first place my friend,Christian means those who thinks,speaks and act just like Jesus (CHRIST) therefore if you're attracted to a none believer definitely you can't possibly be a Christian because Christians are those who follow Christ anywhere,anytime,anyday and on anything He says. Well my advice to you is to first study the Bible with TRUE Christians, learn what Christianity entails, have a deep thought if you can remain in it,pray for God's holy spirit to assist you in keeping to a right course,get baptised in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and finally stick to mature Christians who will continue to encourage you in standing firm in the faith! As for marriage Jesus said marry those worshiping Yahweh, Apostle Paul said marry ONLY in the Lord so it is not advisable to convert her otherwise she will pretend and play along until she gets what she wants from you,however [s] remember that she doesn't believe in Jesus [/s] [b]SHE DOES BELIEVE IN JESUS (PROPHET ISA)[/b]so there is nothing stoping her from betraying you if she gets a BETTER offer. the thing is that have gotten any confirmation from God. see, I believe God is taking me higher. as in I may likely end up a pastor, though God hasn't spoken anything yet, but I know that is where am heading. so can she be a wife of a pastor, I don't think so. why this go to her if I don't think she can do well as a pastor's wife. and can God really tell one to marry a Muslim

My sister inlaw who is a muslim married a christain, not only that, she is a Christian now. Goes to church, her son answers christain name. I named her Mary, she will answer me when i call her sister Mary self.

Well, op, if she is the will of God in your life, you must pray until she become a christain oo. Heaven bound christain should watch it carefully.

I a in the situation with op..her dad refused to endorse our Union on religions ground, just because I am a Christian.. So lately I am beginning to realized the fact that religion came to divide us.thanks for your comment

Point of correction, Christianity is not a religion rather a way of life. Bible says, we should not be unequally yoked with the unbelievers and also He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing and obtaineth favors from the Lord. So stop saying you are waiting for the will of God because God will not come down and find wife for you oh, rather you are the person to do the finding. And don't tell me you've not seen any other sister in your church to fall in love with all this while than trying to heat up two families in the name of love. Don't try interpreting the bible to suit you alone and don't be a hearer only, but also a doer of the written Word .
