Congratulations!
Can you share hospital email and doctor email/phone/name ?
Also, where you stayed?
We are planning for sep-oct but can’t reach their website from our region.

Thanks

Houston North West Medical Center. I used Dr Xydas.
I stayed at a rented apartment.
For the email/ phone number, I believe that constitutes as advert here and I would be bringing a rule.
Send me a generic mail.

Hi everyone, here’s my long overdue feedback:
Got my visa in January (posted my transcript), left for Houston in March aboard delta airlines at 35 weeks( no fit to fly required). Used Oakbend med center n Dr F.
Hospital bill: $3950 (cs)
Doctor:$2800
Anesthesia:$1500
Pediatrician:$694(includes circumcision)
Labs: $140
Pediatrician Followup visits:$505 (LO had jaundice so we had to visit the pediatrician a couple of times)
Followup labs for LO: $173
LO’s ticket $421
Got his SSN in the mail 5 days after birth, DH picked up his BC from Fort Bend county 5 days after birth ($21 each), booked an appointment for expedited passport cos DH had to return to naija. Got the passport 2 days after, paid $175.
Applied for VOA got the approval 2 days later paid $190 on arrival in Lagos. We came back in May. All receipts and zero balances collected.

Hi people! My previous visit to the us I stayed with my sister who no longer lives there (diplomat visa things). I'm applying for renewal and the question about immediate relative pops up. I feel that I should state no but hubby thinks they may view that as a lie and sent based on that or call for interview which I dont have the luxury of time for.

Please advise. Thanks

So your sister no longer lives in the US, right? Then the answer should be No.
Saying yes to the answer is a misrepresentation and besides they can easily check and see your sister no longer lives there....

Good morning house, my interview is in Abuja next Monday and I'm so nervous. I have been rejected once in 2016 when I applied for a regular tourist visa with hubby.
My main concern now is, I and hubby were able to get an appointment date together on same day. But he is suggesting we go separately to be interviewed as we went together last time and we were rejected.
I'm a little skeptical about it.
He has been to the US twice in the past, I haven't. He is also my sponsor for the trip.
How do I answer questions like "does your husband have a valid US visa?" And " will he be traveling with you?"
I'm just confused and don't want to say anything that'll make my story seem fabricated.
NB- We just got back from a 2week vacation to the UK last week.
I NEED MORE ADVICE FROM YOU GUYS .
thank you.

You even stand a better chance if you apply together, because he's been to the us before and you haven't,so his travel history covers you. And moreover, you have already secured a date together, why go through the stress of changing it.
Best of luck.

Your case is very straightforward, your sister no longer lives in the Us,so your answer should be NO.

Congratulations ma on your new born and a successful journey
I have a few questions to ask you because i plan to use HNWMC too but in the letter sent to me the pathology and paediatric fee was not included how much was it

And also how did you sort out your accomodation in Houston

The costs for these aren't fixed.
All things being equal, Pathology is usually between 100 and 200 dollars.
Pediatric is less than 700.

Thank you. We secured same date but he said we shouldn’t be interviewed as a couple. He feels like its better since we were rejected last time we were interviewed together. I’m so unsure of what to do.

Kindly help if your can.

My sis is trying to apply for b2 visa for childbirth in the US while her husband will apply for b1/b2 to join her after baby is born before they will all come back together. Her husband is sponsoring the trip and she is a stay at home wife, this is their first.

Now the question

Are they supposed to be interviewed together or will they book for interview separately ?

Thank u
Was reading through and I’m in a similar situation. Did they go together for the interview or separately.

I do not see any reason for the two of you applying separately. It raises more questions than it addresses. We're also about honesty here and have seen people who have had previous refusals being granted visas once all requirements have been met. Plan well get all your required documents and you and your husband will be fine.
Thank you

Hello Mamas,

Please i need help on how to check if my my child's SSN has been compromised. I tried to contact Equifax via their customer service but i couldn't get past the voice prompts cos i dont have SSN, and address in the US. I dont want to jump to contact IRS first, cos i am not sure and the person who might have compromised it is her father (EX). so i cant ask him cos he wont tell the truth.

Also, is there a way to ensure her SSN can not be used to file tax return since i have sole custody and i dont live in the US.

Thanks

You will need to call IRS to make that complaint that you have not given anyone permission to use your child's SSN to file for tax returns.

I will suggest you leave first before she applies.

Even if the unexpected happens (the cancelling) you are already in and will finish the mission.

I know of a mother and child that applied through the child's school for a competition, the mother was put on administrative processing but the child was approved immediately, child had to travel as mother was still on administrative processing, mother was eventually refused and the very next day child's visa was revoked and cancelled.

All the best.

Now this post has just scared me, I plan to travel with my mom, I will still be in Nigeria when she will have her visa interview, am planning she goes with my visa page for her interview, so is it possible they cancel or revoke my visa?

I stated in my past post how my visa was renewed early this year, I wasn’t pregnant when I renewed my visa, I have had previous birthing experience in the US paid all my bills and have my zero balance letters, my visa renewal was an interview no question about my previous birthing was asked, just a few questions asked about my work and places I have been to, we were to visit the US for Easter but we didn’t go to the US but went somewhere cos hubby had a training in another country, planned to go to US for summer until baby showed up.

Please I need advice should my mom have her visa while am still here, I need serious help with my toddler during the trip and after the trip.

Will advise you to travel 1st before your mum appears for her interview since you didn't apply outrightly for a medical visa.

Good evening everyone. I thank God for journey mercies. Just want to give back to the community [NL]. I just landed in Houston today to have my 2ND baby....30weeks old pregnant. Had a smooth trip. Thank God I was picked up at the airport by my Host. Everything went well @ the POE but had a little problem because ... left my previous receipts from my last delivery in Nigeria but thank God i had pictures on my phone which I showed to the Imm. officer, had to print them, accepted. Very nice black guy.
Please make sure are truthful in all your responses ooooo.
Please does anyone know which hospital is the best to use in Houston? My Host gave me 2 options OBMC or HNWMC . Too tired now .
Pls advise me. Thanks

Hi everyone. Please I really need help on this issue and advice. I have a valid medical visa. I had my 1st child in the usa and I want to go again to have my 2nd one in October. I’d like my grandma to go with me and her visa is next week. Is it advisable for her to go for interview while I’m still here or move the date forward and let her go for the interview when I’m there already. We are scared they might cancel my visa or it might affect me with the way they are doing anyhow these days. I’ll be giving her my data page and my daughter’s own as well.

Is it possible for them to cancel your visa for this reason? Did your grandma eventual go for her visa interview or you moved it? We seem to be in same situation.

Immigration didn’t ask for Doctor’s appointment letter or hospital communication and charges?
We are 28 weeks pregnant and planning to be there around 34 weeks.

Let’s be in touch.
