Sanchez, Perreira and Fred looked good. De gea too. Let's pray he's forgotten his worldcup woe. Others were horrible.

Mata was up for it at the start, playing the forward role he loves so much but fizzled out in the second half like the lazy sluggish inconsistent sod he is, similar to his performance in the Liverpool match.
Regardless of the goal scored by Herrera, he still looked horrible and couldn't string 2 passes together to save his life.

Our defence looked so awful and terrible. Madrid's little kids could have scored more. The likes of Bailly, TFM, Mctominay (will give him a pass 'cos he's no defender), Shaw, Darmian (regardless of his attacking intent in the first half which contributed to our 2 goals) all looked atrocious and terrible. Looked like sunday league defenders. What a shame. Fortunately, Madrid B and C team were still unfit to hurt us a lot more and wasted lot of their chances.

Can I say I love Ceballos? Looked class apart and every inch of a playmaker in that match. He was so dominant in the midfield. I would even swap him for Pogba 'cos we have no playmaker in our team and Pogba isn't even one. That guy is a real talent. Odegaard looked good as well.

Odegaard passes backwards and sideways too much, he isn't as daring as you'd expect from someone so highly rated
