I do mine this way too, only that I fry the veggies in a pan with the chicken, then add water or the chicken stock. The first time I tried making it with thickener(potato starch) I hated myself that day, my sauce came out as Jelly, that was the last time I made anything like that. Now I just fry all together in a pan with groundnut oil, stock and curry and it comes out great

Exactly. That's how I do mine. I add the little stock from the meat.

When it comes to trying new dishes, I scare easily. Even if you pay me to try something new, once I don't feel convinced I refuse.
In fact I stayed a full year in the north and never for once tried any northern dish.(Rice,beans,yam, bread and potato wan kill me that year. grin

)

So I had the courage to do away with my fear today and tried afang soup. Gaskiya! E sweet, delicious, palatable, and all other things they use to describe good food.
