try this with smoked Titus fish, make sure you fry the fish till its dried.you will enjoy it
I don't think so. I'm not really a dried/smoked/fried fish person. I love fishes but I love them boiled or steamed.

But I can try your method sha. I like trying out new stuffs. Thanks.

So I've been on some training 4rm work since Monday and I've been hooked on some nice cuisine. Below is what lunch looked like yesterday

Pix1-Appetizer. Chicken pepper soup to start the afternoon

Pix2 - Naija jollof rice, fried rice, salad(yes the real salad not some vegetables and carrot mixed with mayonnaise),croaker fish, and chicken.
NB: I could've taken moin moin with the salad, but a man's got to think about the end product. If I combine moin and salad right there and I get home killing my sef with flatulence, wetin I gain? grin

Seems it's a yam affair. cheesy
Let me share this.

Egusi soup

Efo riro

And Poundless yam (Iyan with no pounding involved)

If my girlfriend cooks egusi for me like this, I am proposing to her that moment. If my egusi isn't red and oily like this, it pisses me off, especially those watery ones

MissJoy29:

Oh no! This dish is totally different from the one you use thickener in.
1) You don't use a lot of the ingredients on this one. A lot.
2) You don't cut the ingredients here this small for that one.
3) I use only chicken for that one.
4)And yes, I use corn starch as thickener on that too.
5) This one I posted has less water in it than the other one which requires enough water(depending on how many people eating it though) before the thickener is added.

So, they are totally different.

I do mine this way too, only that I fry the veggies in a pan with the chicken, then add water or the chicken stock. The first time I tried making it with thickener(potato starch) I hated myself that day, my sauce came out as Jelly, that was the last time I made anything like that. Now I just fry all together in a pan with groundnut oil, stock and curry and it comes out great
