Yeah thank you, I talked to 2 people about it. 1 said I don’t need to wait for 21 days after publication, the other said I have to. I’m in Abuja. I just want to know if it’s like that in other states.

Does a married first time passport applicant have to do an official change of name to get an International Passport; or will the marriage certificate suffice?

And how does one go about doing a change to a married name? Is it an affidavit in court or something else or a combination of affidavit and something else

4. court affidavit
5. husband's passport data page.

Go to their Abuja office first. For now it is done only in Abuja, so take advantage of being in Abj. Haba!

I just started mine too paid 40k after getting quotes as high as 70k

When I did newspaper publication my name came out the next day in the paper

If you didn’t have a previous international passport I don’t think you need to effect anything

I’m still awaiting an approval and I’ll update as it goes, but my cousin said hers took two weeks and it’s her connect I’m using, I’m hopeful that even if it will exceed two weeks it shouldn’t be more than three weeks

I got a text last night to come and capture today which I did and didn’t take up to one hour there and was told to come pick up according to the pickup slip on the 27th of September

I have a passport with 4 yeears exiring data and i just got married. I want to ask if it is necessary at this point to change the name on the passport. Am trying to get the affidavit, nin and bvn done.
